The X Files is my favorite T.V. show. There is one simple reason for this, I'm fascinated by the extrodinary, supernatural, and the unexplained.
The X Files is a show about two FBI agents, Fox Mulder, and Dana Scully, and their strange, unsolved cases, (until they get ahold of them) called, "The X Files". Dana is the agent sent to observe and basically keep the FBI's rouge agent, Mulder, in line. Mulder, on the other hand, is obsessed with finding the "Truth". He believes in extraterrestrials, (aliens) supernatural/paranormal phenomene, and similar things. Both are convinced of a government conspiracy, yet Dana is unwilling to admit it. She also cannot find "scientific" solutions to problems Mulder puts in front of her that have to do with Supernatural happenings, yet she insists that there is a "logical" explination. Even after all that she's seen, and all that's happened to her. As much as some people argue to the contrary, I seriously believe in extraterrestrials, and supernatural and paranormal phenomene. I think we're pretty damn cocky if we believe that humans are the only intelligent species in the universe. And too many weird things have happened to me to have me not believe in the supernatural. Also, I believe that if we look at the past, we are able to predict our future, as a species that is. Hence, I belive that government conspiracies are very possible. As a very wise person once said, (his name escapes me) "Absolute power corrupts absolutely". Anyway, enough with my beliefs and theories. The X files is one heck of a show. It has everything, aliens, sea monsters, cannibles, possesed persons, and even the devil himself, among other things. Pretty cool huh? Truly, though, it is a very good show, and probably one of the most popular T.V. shows ever. I highly recommend it.
