RP Log 2
Stepping lightly along the path and leaving nary a footstep behind in the massive snowdrifts that hide it, a hooded figure emerges from the through the trees to the east. Glittering snow coats her dusky grey cloak, catching what little diffuse light penetrates the forest floor and glinting with her every movement.
Finwere smiles, "Hello."
The snow continues to fall as it loses its solidity from the little amount of light creating a somewhat melting heat. Some falls by your feet as Finwere looks to Eilialhenel and says, "How are you doing?"
Legolas is seated under neath the limbs of one of the larger beeches.
Finwere looks to the passerby, wondering is he misplaced the name, for she seems to take little notice of the sitting Elves.
Eilialhenel's cloak swirls about her feet as she stops suddenly, sending a dusty cascade of snow out to join their younger falling comrades. She lifts a hand to her face to push back her hood, but the stinging wind convinces her to put it back up after but a moment of exposing her fair cheek. "Mae govannen," she says to Finwere from safe in the dark depths of her hood. "I fare well, and I am on my way to the caves. Whatever has posessed you to sit out in such a storm?" she inquires curiously. "I suspect you'll soon be but another mound of snow if you stay much longer!²
Finwere smiled at the Elven maiden, "I enjoy sitting out here. It is harsh, yet beautiful. I am talking with my friend, Legolas."
A stray afternoon sunbeam loses its way in the snowstorm and finds its way to Eilialhenel's eyes, where it sparkles briefly as she turns her gaze to the other elf seated under the tree. "Oh," she says with a startled catch to her voice. "Ernil," she says, attempting to curtsey to a seated figure and ending up looking rather ridiculous. "Finwere, do you ever do anything but sit and talk?" she asks directly.
As the snow blows by in its flight being provided by the afternoon wind, Finwere notices the beautiful sun on Eilialhenel's eyes as she speaks, and answers with a laugh, "I don't know. I have been relaxing a lot these few days."
Legolas gives Eilialhenel a curt nod, "Good morn!"
Eilialhenel chuckles softly as she hears Finwere's reply. "Well perhaps it is time that you found something else to do with your time! As for my time, well, I deem that I've already tarried too long here, as I have errands to run in the kitchens and must get back to the grove before the bread I am baking burns!"
And with that, Eilialhenel continues on her hasty path to the caves.
As Eilialhenel speaks, some more snow falls and the wind picks up, more furious than ever. Finwere chuckles and adds , "OK. I will do that. . .soon. hehe. Anyway, see you soon. Goodbye." He nods his head.
