AMAZING!!! If I had to choose one word to describe it, that would be it. I didn't see it as a movie but more of an adventure. I felt that the movie was one of the best of the summer. It had everything in my opinion. Action, adventure, drama, romance, and a little sci-fi. The writing was great. The shots were all perfect and breath taking. And the acting...well there are no words to describe it. I read an interveiw or saw one, where Mr. Carter is saying how David and Gillian looked like movie stars and not television stars thrown up on the big screen. And it was easlily seen. I felt that even people who weren't ig X-Files fans, or who didn't know about the show could enjoy it. the only way I can see that being a problem was with Skinner and The Lone Gunmen. You saw them, but didn't get much background on them. Especially the Lone Gunmen. It's like Mulder is shot and then *poof* they are there. The audience does get a sence that Skinner is the boss and does car about the Agents, but his relationship with them is not shown well. The banter between Mulder and Scully was priceless. From begining to end. I actually found it a bit more shippy then some of the episodes. I like also how they tied everything together. From the oil to the bees. (I'll finish this after this weekend as I hopefully will see the movie a fourth time.)
