HERRENVOLK A good part two. The end was intresting how she was saved with help of CSM. Supposidly the enemy. This two parted hints at the fact that maybe CSM isn't as bad as we all thought. Stupid move on Scully's part when she goes to check if the guy is dead or not. 'The guy you left for dead is alive.' Do you think she thought before she said those words? I really liked this episode. I also became teary eyed when he cried on Scully's sholder in his mom's room. Skinner's reaction was interesting too. He seemed to have waited until he was sure that Scully was able to deal with him and then left the two of them alone. Very smart.
HOME: Incest is Best! Okay maybe not, but the interation between Mulder and Scully is priceless. Also there is a great scare factor here. I put this one right up there with Squeeze and Tooms. I really loved it. Along with the uberscully conversation. I can see her as a mother, as long as he is the father.
UNRUE: Anyone in the mood for an ice pick labotomy. I was scared to go to the dentist before this ep. I don't feel any safer this time. I think pure Scully stupidness is what led to her capture. It was also predictable that something was going to happen to her when he told her to go on ahead of him. It was intresting to see how worried Mulder was about Scully. It was like his life was going to end with out her. Again proof of how important she is to him. Who knew Scully knew German??
SANGUNARIUM
I found this episode very disgusting. I felt that there was too much blood. I found it very clever though. Especially the whole pentagram and the witch's holidays. It was really thought out. but again there was just too much blood. There was a line in it thought that I don;t really remember. It was by Scully and it had to do somethign with hiding the truth I think. Any way I hope this also turned people off from cosmetic surgery.
TELIKO
I know a lot of people didn't like it. But it really wasn't that bad. Alright the dude hiding in the vent there was a little unbelievable. But I liked the end when Mulder is incapatitated and he comunicates with Scully with just his eyes. It think it speaks volumes about there relationship. Otherwise a decent episode.
PAPER HEARTS
Very well done. A little predictable. And losts of UST!!!
David did a great job acting in this one. But you knew that you wouldn't find
out if Roache had killed Samantha. If we did then all of Mulder's beliefs would
be destroyed. My only question is for someone to explain to me the meaning and/or
purpose of that hug at the end.
EL MUNDO GIRA
This episode was not one of my favorites. It seemed more like a soap opera than an x-file. While the references to "West Side Story" were cute it really didn't hold my attention.
There were sometimes of UST when Mulder and Scully were standing near each other and exchanging glances. Also some times they didn't need to hold those looks for so long.
THE FIELD WHERE I DIED I thought that Scully was his soul mate. I won't except anyone else. Anyway an intresting episode. It makes you think about stuff like reincarnation. But the fact that Scully was like a father figure means that he looks up at her. Also I loved Kristen Cloke. I think she did an excelent job with all the personalities.
MUSINGS OF A CIGERETTE SMOKING MAN The shipper in me hates this episode. It has nothing of Mulder and Scully. But the die hard X-phile in me loved it. It was very well done and gave us insight on to the most hated man in the X-Files universe. It was very intressting how he helped shape major events in history. And he wasn't always a bad guy. Can't you see him as an author??
LEONARD BETTS
I have only one word, AWESOME! This episode was filled with great Mulderisms.
It revolved around a great x-file. An episode like this was due to us for a long time. What was really great about his episode was
all the questions that were raised at the end of the show. It kept me suspence for a long time.
NEVER AGAIN
CC and company are two for two. Another great episode and of course the ending was the best. They way he just let it
hang off at the end there was sheer briliance. And of course all the UST even though they are not together. Why was he calling her if he was not in love
with her. Another important point. It makes more sence the episodes coming this way. It gives us, the avid viewer a better reason to understand why
she is acting that way. Also great job Jodie Foster as the voice of the tatoo.
MEMENTO MORI
What is CC feeding his writers? I don't think we can get a much better episode. I know I was upset in the
beginning as she was writing in her journel. This episode sort of played a little role reversal where Scully believed and Mulder didn't
want to no matter how much truth was set before him. Also we can see how much Mulder cares for her. He was willing to go to any lengths to help her.
An important point in this episode was when her maother came and was upset that she wasn't told first. That shows how much trust that Scully has in Mulder.
And of course we must not forget the KISS and that whole scene. Okay, so it wasn't what we wanted but we must take what we can get. And that whole embrace melted me.
I can't wait for the next one!
KADDISH
I hope all of you little X-File nuts remember that scully doesn't know that she has cancer. This story in my opinion was very well
done. There was not a lot of UST but proves the fact that you can have good stories without UST. I was a little disappointed though. I was hoping that
we'd be able to find out some more of Mulder's religious background. I always thought of him as being Jewish. But there was a comment about him looking Jewish.
The nose thing. Anyway it was enjoyable and David did a great job on pronouncing the hebrew words.
TUNGUSKA I loved this ep. I think Krychek is an ass and I think Mulder and Scully should take turns beating him up. And Mulder's description of Krychek is so cool. But you got to feel bad for him. He gets beat up by everyone. Did we really need to see Skinner's chest. (not really complaining though) My favorite scene has to be the car scene when they are at JFK airport (5 mins from where I live). Also PENDRAL. Did you see how he was transfixed as Scully was getting into that suit. She is so blind to his puppy love. And of corse the last shot freaked me out. But as someone pointed out...that's what happens when a fox get's into a chicken coup. He get's caught in the wire.
TERMA Who would have thought that Scully would go to jail for Mulder. Wow. Well she did say that she wouldn't put her job on the line for anyone but him. I felt that we didn't need to know who was sleeping with who. Althoght the fact that Skinner came to see her was intresting. I liked how she told him what was going on. The guy who was talking to Mulder, who thought he was a girl because of his eyes? Well I did. Of course, I can not forget that great scene where Mulder comes into the court room and says, 'what is the question.' Scully's look is priceless. And the line about both arms around you? I think we have shippiness here. And of course she has to save his ass at the end, like always. But poor Alex. Did he really need to lose hiss arm?? Just call him the One Armed Rat Boy now.
UNREQUITED
Uh oh I think we are slipping. Well not really. It was a good ep. A nice idea, very creative. It was a nice change to see some
Skinner angst as appose to Mulder or Scully angst. Did any one else notice that Skinner called Scully, Scully and not 4, when he called the
other agents by their numbers?
TEPUS FUGIT
Part one of two
Well I guess we first must wish Scully a happy birthday. Did anyone else see the way he looked at her, and the extra clapping he added in? I think it is now understandible why last week we had the repeat of Fallen Angel.
I think Mulder really liked Max. He seems really sad, especially when he took out his buisness card from Max's pocket. Also let's us all take a moment of silence for the poor soul of Pendral. *sob* We hope he will be okay. Oh and can someone
explain to me why when the plane was taking off Mulder was walking backwards and kept waving at the plane while Scully was staring out the window? Well this was a great episode. Lots of UST. Can't wait for next weeks though.
MAX part 2 of 2
He is not dead! I refuse it to be! He was a clone the real Pendral is still alive. Otherwise another great episode. Scully seemed very upset with not knowing Pendral's first name. Skinner also seemed concered about
Scully. Especially about her nose bleed. Not much to say but a great ep, a lot of UST. The best part is when Scully is going to head to the mental hospital and Mulder says he won't go with her.
SYNCRONY
An okay episode. Nothing too extrodiany happening. It was an intresting idea in then time travel theory though. I also liked that he quoted her thesis a couple of times in the episode. The most troubling part however occured after the show.
The clips for next week looked very interesting. Especially the fact that they kiss. I'm not going to discuss a lot about this here being it's in next weeks episode, but I will say while the kiss will be interesting, it will be even more fun to see the before and after scenes.
SMALL POTATOS
Oh my god! Where do I begin? Let me start off by saying this is my favorite episode of all time. This episode proves what a great actor David is. He was able to make an alter ego for Mulder. The whole Star Wars idea was wonderful at the begining. It is hard to ick a favorite scene or part because
the whole show was wonderful. One part that was memorable was the look on Scully's face after the real Mulder came through the door. Did you see how fast she got out from under his arms? Also there was a line said by david as the fake Fox, it went somthing like 'why haven't we ever done this before?
Well I know the reason. It's all Chris!!! Another intresting question to ponder is does Darin Morgan get paid more to star or write an episode.
Did anyone else see Gillian and David in Millenium on the Friday before?
ZERO SUM
I guess I'll start off by saying that it's nice to see Mulder and Skinner working together. This is a very Mitchy episode. (WHY THE UNDERWARE?) It's sad that Scully has cancer again. Both male agents seem to be very concerned about Scully. But there doesn't seem to be enough of David. But a pretty okay episode
anyway, even if there is no UST! Oh the Uni-blond is back and she has a name. I really thought that he killed CSM. But I'm glad he didn't!
ELERGY
I will start with tonights episode. It was very USTful. Especially at the end. He admitted that he liked her. When he said that he was scared about the same thing she was, and that he didn't what this to happen her. The beginning when they are on the floor of the boling alley. Did you see the way she squeezed
inbetween both men. I think she looked good on the floor next to him. And when he came into the bathroom, and with the nose bleed, Sorry, so much happened. Next I should mention something about next weeks episode. We seem to have a nice bathroom scene. All in all it looks like it will be a nice combination of Memento Mori
and Small Potatoes.
DEMONS
Nice Ep. Lots of Muldersngst. And I loved the shower scene. Question: When he was sitting on the bed in the towel she took his pulse and did something else to him that we couldn't see. Did it have something to do with the towel? I really thought that he would kill Scully. I'm glad he didn't. That hug at the end was great, when she laid her head on his back.
I personally felt really bad for Mulder. He looked like he was ready to cry all the time. Especially with his mom. Talk about a mother's day ep. I must say though he conveys pain very well. Now another problem I have is why does Chris want to kill off his actors? Who do you think will die next week? Mulder or Scully? I'm sorry but this is really bothering me. I
don't know if I can wait till next week.
GETHSEMANE
He's not dead. I refuse to believe that. It is either a clone, a plant to maybe thwart Scully in giving up the X-Files. Or She is covering him. So he can go on by himself to find the truth. I sat on my chair throughout the whole ep though. One thing that I didn't like was that it went back and forth, but didn't tell you the time frame. For the first few seconds I was confused.
It was nice to see that Scully does have brothers. Well there is one X-File solved. There was one thing that he said that I totally agree with. After she fell down the stairs and he comes with the clothing for her, he asks where is Mulder. She is willing to jump through hoops of fire for him but where is he when she needs him. I guess that shows that she cares for him. But also
that the Mulder we saw was a clone, because he didn't even ask how she got the brusis on her face. Especially after Elergy when he says that he is scared of the same thing that she is. My last comment is that I don't know if I can wait until next season.
Note: UST = Unresolved Sexual Tention Go back home
