After 14 years of marriage, my parents decided to do the big "D" (divorce). About a year later my mom remarried to a great guy. His name is Ken and he works in a local bowling alley where he is the manager of a pro shop.
This place has been important to me because I practically grew up there. When I was younger I participated in numerous bowling leagues. I of course enjoyed it and became pretty good. That is where I met Ken for the first time. He has worked in the same establishment for many years. This helped me to accept Ken as a part of our family.
They live in Spokane still, where we can keep in constant contact. This is always good since my most favorite person lives with them, my sister, Shayla. After breaking up with her fiancée, she's now living with a great guy.
Meanwhile back with my dad; he got remarried a wonderful lady. She is great for my dad. They both enjoy similar things and they are very compatible for one another. Her name is Peggy and we first met her two years ago. She sat behind us all year at the local hockey games. Since then she and my father got engaged and married. Boy, what a quick couple of years.
