Hawk Squad
Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it a frog... a frog? (Unless your an Underdog fan, you wont get that...) Actually its my Fire Wing Swooping Hawks. All of them originally came in the same pose, but with a little patience, a little toilet paper, a big pair of needle nose pliers and an exacto knife. I carefully bent the legs on a few of them to make them look like they were taking off or landing.
On this close up you can see one of the legs that I adjusted. First I cut the area where the foot met the tab that holds the miniature to the base. After the foot was free I wrapped the leg in several layers of toilet paper to protect it from the pliers. Then slowly and gently I bent the leg into the position I wanted.
