Poems of Love and Victory

Death

I come, tis only me. I see your great fear.
Sit, look into my face, am I the one?
Am I the evil creature you seek to destroy?

I see your skin, pale with utter terror.
You wish not to speak now? Tell me!
Do you see the beast within these eyes of mine?

Come, here is the instrument of my death.
Take it, I see your fear has gripped the weapon.
What do you wait for? Coward! Take my soul.
Why do you hesitate? Do not stay your hand,
Not for my sake. Once again, am I the one?

You are confused, why do you grip the weapon thus?
Thrust it in my bosom. Come, I will show you the mark.
Here, one blow to destroy all your fears. One Blow.
Let your emotions reign, let it overcome your senses.
Am I not the evil beast you wish gone?
