Bad Day

Things don't seem to be going right,
they are just not going my way.
No matter how hard I try,
today isn't just may day.

What did I do to deserve this?
Everything has fallen apart.
It all just seems to be a mess,
at times I just lose heart.

Today is like a towering wall,
I always try to do my best.
But the wall seems to be too steep to climb,
now I just want to rest.

I look for a bright spot,
something I can look at with pride.
But all I see is darkening clouds,
I just wish now is to find a place and hide.

I seemed to be cursed,
does anyone have any good luck to lend?
I just want to survive until the end of the day,
I desperately want this bad day to end.
