10. Sins of The Father |
Worf must go to the Klingon Homeworld and defend his late father from accusations of being a Romulan spy. |
Very good episode, brings more defining of Worf's character and sets up for futher stories. |
9. Conspiracy |
When Captain Walter Keel dies after claiming there is a consiracy to conquer Starfleet, Picard takes the Enterprise to Earth to investigate, resulting in discovering parasites are controlling Starfleet officials. |
A fine episode, bringing tension and intrigue to the show. Also very good special phaser effects in this episode. |
8. The Drumhead |
When an investigation turns up a Klingon spy for the Romulans, Starfleet send retired Admiral Satie to hold hearing, which leads to an inquisition. |
This is an excellent episode which promotes that individual freedoms can be taken away if people are not vigilant. |
7. Yesterday's Enterprise |
The Enterprise-C comes through a time distortion and changes history, leading the Enterprise-D to be in time period where the Federation is at war with the Klingons. |
This is a very exciting episode as we see conflict between the characters and great action sequences. |
6. The Inner Light |
As the Enterprise crosses its path, an alien probe transmits a life-time of experiences to Picard about a dying planet and their culture. |
This is a very touching episode that relates how life is an ever changing process and how people leave a mark on others. |
5. The Measure of a Man |
Summoned by Commander Maddox for a series of dangerous experiments, Data must undergo a trial to determine his status as a sentient being. |
This is a classic issue oriented episode which deals with how individual freedom can be taken away if allowed. |
4. Relics |
The crew finds Scotty former engineer of the Origonal Enterprise. Laforge and Scotty must work together to free the Enterprise-D from a Dyson Sphere. |
Of all the cross-over episodes, this was the best. James Doohan shows that he is a good actor when given the material and the story tells how even when you are old, you can still be useful. |
3. Q Who |
After being banished by the Q Continuim, Q requests to become a member of the crew. Picard refuses, making Q mad and sending the enterprise across the galaxy and encountering the Borg for the first time. |
This is a great episode! We meet the Borg for the first time and we see that the crew cannot always come out on the right side of things. The tension and action makes this a must see. |
2. All Good Things |
Picard finds himself shifting through the past, present and future, thanks to Q in order to stop an event that will destroy all of humanity. |
This was the final episode of the series and it went out with a bang! It was great to see the characters in different time periods and seeing an Enterprise-D that had an awesome phaser cannon. |
1. The Best of Both Worlds Parts 1 & 2 |
The Borg invade Federation space, assimilate Picard and attempt to conquer Earth. |
This is the best episode of all of Star Trek in my opinion. This episode has a tremendous story, great special effects, and good character development. |
