I bought my first Genesis a few years ago. I bought it for, believe it or not, one game. I had to get Mortal Kombat II for my girlfriend. I sold the Genesis (with all my carts) to a friend about a year ago as a Christmas gift for his kids. After some time I decided that I couldn't live without Sonic so I found a used Genesis locally for a very good price. I don't have many carts for it but as 16bit games drop off in popularity I'll pick up the games that I want for a lot less money than if I were to purchase them now.

Earthworm Jim	"Groovy!" That's all I've got to say about this great but frustrating platformer.
Sonic and Knuckles	Classic Sega platforming with Sonic the Hedgehog. This title allows you to plug other Sonic games into the top of this cart and play those games with a new twist.
Beyond Oasis	The predecessor to the Saturn game "The Legend of Oasis." Actually this game comes after Legend as far as the game world is concerned. A good action RPG with graphics very similar to the Saturn title.
Shining in the Darkness	Just one of the many Shining games. I've not really played this 1st person RPG much but it looks to be very groovy.
Blades of Vengeance	An arcade conversion in which you pick one of three character types, run to the right, and hack stuff up in fantasy style.
Thunder Force III	The third installment in the Thunder Force series. I bevieve that there are now five with the addition of the last title on Saturn. This is definitely a game for fans of the scrolling twitch shooter. A very difficult game by any accounts. A lot of fun though.
