Welcome!
This is not the usual Sims fan site, with banner ads, pleas to vote for me in some poll or members-only areas. It's just a place where people who know me can download some things I created for The Sims. I might make it fancier later, but for now, here's what you'll find here:
Skins
Vacation Buy Skins
Are you embarassed to go on vacation because all your Sims are wearing the same swimsuits? These new swimsuits don't replace the ones that come with the game, but they take their place as the defaults. Each body size, sex and skin tone has its own unique color and design, so when you go to the beach resort, you'll see a variety walking around instead of a bunch of clones.
Note that these are *additional* swimsuits for SV. They do NOT replace the default swimsuits that come with the game, so if you have established neighborhoods where you've already sent families on vacation, the vacationers for that neighborhood have already been generated and will already have their swimsuits assigned. These suits won't change that. However, these will become the default swimsuits for any new Sim families, Townies or vacationers that are generated from then on. Also, you'll be able to have your existing Sims buy these swimsuits from the rack just like other Buy Skins.
- New Child Default Swimsuits
Male and female, all skin tones. A different default swimsuit for each sex and skin tone. Six new skins. PLEASE read the Read-Me.txt to learn how to use these skins.
- NEW!!!New Adult Female Default Swimsuits Three skin tones x three body sizes = nine new buyable swimsuit skins. Each suit is different in design and details, not just a recolor. Give your women Vacationers some individuality with these swimsuits! PLEASE read the Read-Me.txt to learn how to use these skins.
Hot Date Buy Skins
The Hot Date expansion pack lets you send your Sims downtown to buy custom formalwear, swimwear and sleepwear. These skins are made to work with standard Maxis meshes that come with Hot Date. Just drop them in your C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\ExpansionPack3\Buy Skins folder, and the skins will be available for purchase next time your Sims go shopping!

Skins: Arise, my Iron Chefs!
If memory serves me correctly, skins from the Fuji TV/Food Network program Iron Chef are very difficult to find anywhere on the Web. So I secretly spent my fortune assembling skins of the finest chefs in Japan, the invincible men of culinary skill, the Iron Chefs! Download their skins and custom meshes here and move them into your Kitchen Stadium!
Iron Chef Chinese, Chen Kenichi: Son of the God of Szechuan cooking, Chen Kenichi (or Kenichi Chen -- Chen is his family name) is the longest-lasting Iron Chef, the only one who's been an Iron Chef from the beginning. He's equally at home mixing up some fried rice or chopping the head off a live eel, but for some reason everything Sim Chen cooks comes out looking like steak and green beans. Use your imagination.
Iron Chef French, Hiroyuki Sakai: No, *he's* not French, he *cooks* French. Get it? Sakai is known as "the Delacroix of French cooking," because of his artistic presentation and flair for creativity. He is often influenced in his creation of new dishes by something he saw on the way in to the kitchen that day -- a distant mountain peak, a cherry blossom, and so on. His "symbol" is a pear.
Skins: The Component System
You don't wear the same thing all the time. Why should your Sims? Instead of downloading one outfit in a variety of body types and skin tones, the Component System is based on a new concept in skinning: an entire versatile wardrobe for one Sim. Each set below is designed for one skin tone and body type, but within each set are a variety of skins made up of mix-and-match coordinates. See the sets below for a better idea of what I'm talking about.
- Components: Set 1: Female, skinny, medium skin tone. Set consists of pleated khakis, leopard-print skirt, long-sleeve ivory silk blouse, camel sweater, and a medium-brown hunter jacket. Eight combinations.
- Components: Set 2: Female, fat, dark skin tone. Set includes gray pinstripe slacks, black skirt, long-sleeve white blouse, black camisole top, gray cardigan, and a charcoal jacket. Twelve combinations. Requires the B013FAFat and B017FAFat meshes, which can be downloaded in the official Maxis skin packs if you don't have the LL expansion pack.
- Components: Set 3: Female, skinny, light skin tone. Set consists of a blue-black geometric tank dress (which does double duty as a top), turquoise jeans, a sheer black overshirt and a bra top. Six combinations PLUS Bonus Hot Date Buy Skin lingerie set!
- Components: Set 4: Female, fat, light skin tone. Set includes a light-pink shell, pastel pink skirt, pleated shorts, vest and lace-trimmed jacket. Nine combinations. Requires the B013FAFat and B017FAFat meshes, which can be downloaded in the official Maxis skin packs if you don't have the LL expansion pack.
- Components: Set 5: Male, skinny, light skin tone. Yes, that's right, I said MALE! This is not only my first Component set for the Sim guys, it's also my biggest Component set yet. Those poor neglected Skinny guys need all the fashion help they can get. Set includes a navy blazer, pleated slacks in camel and charcoal (with appropriately colored shoes), polo shirts in turquoise and dark red (worn tail-out), and a short-sleeve blue oxford dress shirt worn either collar open or with a red paisley tie. Sixteen combinations!
- Components: Set 9: Female, fat, medium skin tone. Yes, I know, I've skipped Component Sets 6-8, but those are going to require more work before they're ready to upload. This one I'm happy with. Set includes a teal wool skirt and matching jacket, black belted slacks, and a teal, yellow and peach paisley wrap dress that doubles as a blouse when wearing the alternate bottoms. Six combinations. Requires the B013FAFat mesh, which can be downloaded in an official Maxis skin pack if you don't have the LL expansion pack.
Heads
Since people like to see a head before they download it, I'll indulge them and include pictures for these.
Saudi Male Heads
Three male heads, medium skin tone, wearing traditional Saudi headdresses. These fit the standard Maxis C018MA meshes, which are in the game's .FAR files, so even though you won't see those meshes in your Skins folder, just unzip these skins into your Skins folder and they'll appear in the game.
Houses
Starter Houses
These fully-furnished houses, built without cheats, are designed for a single Sim or a couple. All cost under $20,000 including furnishings, putting them within the reach of a starting Sim family. They have all the basic necessities for Sim life, but the ones on more expensive lots do not have the best furnishings or all items needed for skill advancement.
These houses are built, decorated and furnished with all Maxis-standard walls, floors, furniture, roofs and skins. No non-Maxis downloads are necessary. If you do not have the Livin' Large and House Party expansion packs, though, some walls and skins may default.
Each home comes with a two-Sim family, with jobs and a few skills. The .zip file includes the files and instructions to import the home into your game either with the family, or vacant and ready to move in.
