DEFINITIONS

CONSTRUCTED DECK When a tournament is listed as a constructed deck tournament it means that players are to construct their decks prior to the event using the standard 30/30 deck building rule (no more than 30 seed cards, no fewer than 30 draw cards). The only acception to this rule is the banning of one card, Raise The Stakes.
Players must keep the same deck through out the tournament. There are no sideboards.
DECIPHER SWISSA tournament structure.
ENHANCED SEALED DECK When a tournament is listed as enhanced sealed deck it means that players are to use the official tournament dealed deck (OTSD) product for the event. An OTSD can be provided by a tournament director or you could be required to provide your own. Either way it must remain sealed until the director instructs you to open it for deck building.
SEALED DECK When a tournament is listed as sealed deck it means that players are to bring sealed starter decks and expansion packs in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the tournament director. Like the enhanced sealed deck events these items must remain sealed until the director instructs you to open them for deck building.

All sanctioned tournaments require eight (8) players in order to be awarded that title. Prizes cannot be guaranteed if a sanctioned tournament does not meet player requirements. Sanctioned tournaments also follow the most current rules book and glossery. This includes all rules documents, current rulings, rules suppliments, and rulings posted by Decipher while clearly stating that they take immediate effect. Rulings made outside of this content are not considered official. During a tournament the tournament director's rulings are final. Please take note that there are special rules for the combination of Telepathic Alien Kidnappers and Alien Probe as well as the banning of one card... Raise the Stakes. Non-sanctioned tournaments will follow rules as stated by thier tournament director.
