Boggans: Quiet, practical homebodies, boggans cannot resist the urge to help others in need. They also believe that everyone's business is their own, and Unseelie boggans do a lively trade in secrets, rumors, and confidences. Boggans are usually found as innkeepers, crafters, and retainers. They resemble Hobbits or brownies.
Eshu: Sharp-witted and crafty, the Eshu are renown travelers and storytellers. Plagued with an unquenchable wanderlust, they have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Though the eshu originated in Africa, they have since traversed the globe. Seelie eshu are trusted friends and advisors to rulers. Unseelie eshu make great swindlers and con artists. They look rather like exotic gypsies and are popular lovers.
Nockers: The grotesque and dour nockers are renown smiths and craftpersons. There's not much a nocker can't fix. Unfortunately, they tend to relate better to machines than people. They resemble goblins, but are not the goblins of myth. The nicest ones will merely be rude. The Unseelie ones are proficient with explosives. They're lots of fun.
Pooka: Clever and gregarious talkers who take on the characteristics of the animals they resemble, pookas are the practical jokers of the fae. They are infamous for never telling the whole truth. Unseelie ones play really mean practical jokes.
Redcaps: Crude and rude louts with a taste for blood, redcaps are disliked by most. They have a voracious appetite and can eat almost anything. Most are Unseelie but a few kind souls belong to the Seelie Court. Needless to say, the Seelie redcaps are victims of the derision and hatred of their Unseelie cousins.
Satyrs: Lusty, hedonistic party animals who, paradoxically, are sought out for their wisdom. Their music can have a powerful effect on its listeners. Both male and female satyrs are goats from the waist down. They are much sought after as lovers, especially by the sidhe. Unseelie satyrs sometime indulge in darker passions, however.
Sidhe: The high and noble race of the fae, the sidhe are tall and incredibly beautiful. They are natural born leaders, and know it. They are the objects of both fascination and ridicule by the other kith. They are also much more likely to change courts from Seelie to Unseelie with little warning.
Sluagh: These whisperers of secrets look and act like rather slimy "pale people in black". They dwell in the forgotten places of the world and gather and hoard their secrets. Some are sought after as advisors, but the Unseelie ones rarely share their secrets without asking a price.
Trolls: Huge, blue, amazingly strong changelings known for their honor, courage and stubbornness. Some call trolls the true nobility of the fae. Even Unseelie trolls are pretty nice guys and gals.
