______

The time has come to bring out your best weapons and wage war like you've never done it before (well, maybe last year...): it's the 1998 SWCCG World Finals! But in order to get there, you must first win one of the Regional Events.
Here are the details for the one held in Montreal.

DATE: Sunday August 16th, 1997.
TIME: Registration from 9:30 to 10:00 - the tournament itself starts at 10:00.
LOCATION: The tournament is held in a reception hall located in the basement of the Caisse Populaire Saint-Esprit, at 2675 Masson, Montreal.
Take the bus 47 from Laurier metro station, and get off on the corner of Masson and 2nd avenue. From Joliette or St-Michel metro station, take the bus 67 (bound for Masson) and get off at Masson.
ENTRY FEE: $7. If you want to make a reservation, you either have to give me the money in person, or send a check - contact me for address information.
FORMAT: Decipher Swiss System, with three rounds of play (6 games), and an additional round for the two top players in order to determine the winner of the event.
PRIZES: To be announced (and provided by Decipher); but the winner of the event will be flown to Norfolk for the World Finals!

There are two directors for this one: myself (Gold 28) and Jean-Luc Simard (Gold 27).
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We hope to see you there!
