Bohemir of Esclavonia

SCA Persona History:

I am Bohemir of Esclavonia, former Pursuivant for the Marche of the Winged Hills, in The Barony of the Flaming Gryphon. I was born in 1395, to a moderately successful merchant. I later studied at the University of Krakow in the area of the Arts. Later, after securing a internship with the King's herald, I began my studies in the Arts of Heraldry. After several years, and after the sad passing of my Mentor I was appointed as the King's herald. I served my Lord most respectfully, thru the Battle of Grunwald in 1410 against the Tuetonic Knights. I then retired to The Marche of the Winged Hills to which I served as Herald till turning my post over to Lord Samual Macintosh.

Within The SCA:

I have been in the SCA since 1987. Most of those I have been involved in heraldry. I have enjoyed other pursuits such as calligraphy, drawing, music, song writing, and archery. I had a short running cartoon strip in our local newsletter "The Gryphon's Tale" called "Smash n' Slash, I also did several covers as well. I continue to learn, both from my own research but also thru the constant contact with people with in the Society. I have assited in feasts as a server, assited Court heralds during court, as well as crying event sites, and tourney heraldry. I am also Archery Lt. for our fair shire.
