Poetry of the Damned

VOID
By Daemon VanCanis

The world is nothing
It is a void that can never be filled
you are nothing more than maggots
to be decimated by The Lord of Darkness
Who is this great power you ask
Who can be so arrogant as to believe
himself the almighty creator
That man stands before you
I have always existed
I shall always exist
I created the void which in you inhabit
with your vile putridness
But it is you who feeds it
with your indifference, hatred, competition
All things which I adore and embrace like a lover
I envelope myself in the Darkness
The gothic sun my beacon
to gather my minions
You can not defy your fate
for I fill your lives with the filth that greatens the void
Bow down to the evil within you
For I am that I evil
I control you
I have always controlled you
I shall always control you
Civilizations have to tried to banish me
subvert my power
safeguard their hearts and souls
from my watchful eye
But I always return tenfold
Men rape, pillage, kill at the thought of me
Women bare themselves in the hopes of being my lover
But I take no lover
I have never loved for I have never been loved
That is the one void that I have
A void which I long to fulfill
I am forever searching for my equal
Someone who will bare themselves to me
and I the same
I search for someone with an insatiable yearn
A yearn to eternally embrace my passion
A person who will lay down their body at my whim
and yet be able to break me to her iron will
Until that time arrives, I search
For all eternity I search
And until my wish is fulfilled
the void in my heart, in the belly of man
will continue to grow and feed and consume
until there is nothing

You stood in the gothic sun
hair of darkest night
eyes intense yet inviting
you came to me when I was not myself
and my life was never the same
your friendship was bountiful and unbidden
by today's conformities
I admired you from afar
fearful that I may not have had the chance
most men have money
to buy everything under the stars
some have a way with words
to sway even the hardest of hearts
but what have I to give
nothing but caring and affection
until the last clock unwinds
I don't believe I shall ever
have what it takes to win your heart
but I have had my say
so no matter what is to come
I know I have had my chance
to win your heart
for you have certainly won mine

Darkness surrounds me
Flicking a match,
Lighting a solitary candle.
A cold summer's breeze surpasses me.
I sit here lonely,
Watching the burning candle,
Mesmerized by its glow
I fall deep.
Unconscious to the world around me.
Till awakened by your warm touch.
My handsome prince has returned
Taking away my loneliness
Laying down beside me,
Great comfort overcomes me.
Holding me near,
Pondering upon our time apart.
Speak no more for you were always in my heart
Holding me tight through the night.
I awake the next morning to bright sunlight,
And you in my sight

Come Little Boy
Adrain Lake

Come little boy,
Come-hither.
Don't worry, for I won't hurt you.

Your innocence is very becoming.
You should run from the disconsolate sight of me,
Yet my morbid soul, seductive features,
Attract you,
Drawing you near.

Wanting you only for the monster,
I can make you into.
My darkness overwhelms your bright light.

Drawing you in, I make you as I.
Darkness overwhelms you,
Seeing no light.
Taking your hand, as I lead you
Farther into eternity
You feel my ecstasy.

Deep inside of me
You jump at the snap of my whip.
While your hands are chained,
Thought of old, run through your mind.
You begin to cry,
As I continue.
Ravishment, bondage.
Whipping you till you bleed.
Sweat drips off your warm body.
You're helpless to my metal chains.

Its all over, don't cry
Little boy.
Wiping the tears from your eyes.
Licking off the blood, from my evil deeds.
Don't cry little boy,
I'll hold you tight

To My Dearest One
By Daemon VanCanis

Like a thief in the night
you invaded me
In your dark pools
I saw an intensity like none other
In you face I saw a passion that yearned to be matched
You weren't looking for anyone
you were looking for a lover
You hold with in yourself a love that knows no bounds
A love that yearned to be accepted
And of all the more worthy ones out
there you chose me
I melted in your arms
Your enigmatic smile drew me in like nothing I had ever seen
I was warned away from you
Told that you were evil embodied
If this evil what is the point of being good
But you were evil
because like a thief in the night
you stole the one thing I hold dear
You stole my heart
