Welcome to the "Whistle Down the Wind" shrine, the newest addition to my home page, created to honor Andrew Lloyd Webber's new musical that premeired on December 6, 1996 in the National Theatre in Washington DC. I was there of course, and let me tell you, it is a wonderful show! Everything, from the music, to the sets, to the actors, to Hal Prince's incredible staging, to the choreography, to the lights.... well you get the idea! It is the story of three children in a small Louisiana town who find a mysterious starnger living in their barn and think he is Jesus, and then.... wait a minute, I forgot most of you haven't seen it yet.
