This is "the wall", backstage at the Nederlander Theatre where RENT still plays on Broadway. It initially started out as a place where visiting celebrities (like Billy Joel) would write messages about the show or to the cast. Then cast members started bringing their families and friends back to write personal messages. It's an incredible sight. Jonathan Larson's best friend wrote the most touching words to him. This picture is of the second message I wrote. This one is personally for Anthony. My other simply read, "Thank you, Jonathan, for light and love."
