This is a print that I did for the cover of my family's annual Christmas book. It is an image of the famous manger in Bethlehem. The wise man approaching over the hill could be on a donkey or a camel, depending on which you prefer. I also made an edition on regular paper.

I used a technique where I simply cut lines into the block without specifically carving for the texture on the hill in this print. It was done with oil-based Daniel Smith ink on paper, and hand-printed on a press.

This was printed in 2 editions - one on the covers of the Christmas book and a separate one of 20 on paper. There are prints available.
