PETE WHITE Sangiovese (2003). Woodcut. |
This print posed a bit of a technical problem. I was still experimenting with my new press and with the new-to-me Daniel Smith water-based printing inks. Nonetheless, I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. There are actually four colors, not the apparant three. The dark part of the grapes are a very deep blue.
This is a four color reduction. It was done with water-based Daniel Smith ink on BFK Rives paper, and hand-printed on my press.
There are prints available.
