T-Bill

PETE WHITE
T-Bill (2000).
Linocut.
7 x 12".
Artist's Comments:

This is an homage to one of my childhood heroes, the one, the only, Mr. T. Oddly enough, it is this print that has gotten me the most notoriety, at least on the internet. This is due largely to the fact that Mr. T has a huge web presence, and a few sites dedicated to him have picked me up as a link. Technical Notes:

This was printed with two blocks. It is a linocut printed on top of a sandblasted chipboard background. It was done with oil-based Daniel Smith ink on paper, and hand-printed on a press.

Edition:

This is the print I did for the Printmaker's Mint exchange, an online exchange in which each artist had to design some form of currency.
It was an edition of 47. Most were distributed in the exchange, and there are no more left.
