Here I am, printing away merrily. (Picture courtesy Mary Etta Johnson) |
My name is Pete White. I was born November 23, 1976 in Corona, California, and grew up in the Inland Empire of Southern California. After graduating from Upland High School in 1994, I went to Chaffey College for two years, where I earned my A.A. in University Studies.
In 1998, after some consideration, and a few changes in my major, I transfered to California State University, San Bernardino. In December of 2000, I earned a B.A. in Art with a teaching concentration and a focus in printmaking. I studied under Joe Moran, and earned the Joe Moran Printmaking Award in 2000.
In May of 2001, I married my best friend and the love of my life, Tricia, on a beach in Maui.
I am currently paying the bills by working as a vinyl repairman, which beats the corporate world.
In the fall of 2003, I began the M.A. program in Art History at the University of California, Riverside.
