PICTURES!!! GO DOWN NOW!!! NO, NOT GO DOWN. SCROLLDOWN!!!

Since when I am NOT working on my pages? Is this true for all you others out there? At any rate, this page is being re-designed. (Hell's bells, I can't even decide what to tell you about it!) But, if you've made it this far I'm touched in a deep deep dark personal place and would you like to come over for coffee?? :D But, if this doesn't tickle your taste buddies, then why don't you try my Dave Matthews band page - but not the usual "He's so hot!" page. (Isn't he, though?) I will be dissecting their songs as would make an English Teacher proud, but I think you'll enjoy the ideas, as well. For now, though - isn't it FANTASTIC that BNL has hit it big!! Nice payback for a great band! Good work, Ladies!

what does one talk about when discussing one of their favorite bands? i visited the Barenaked Chatter page but it was not all Barenaked??? most of them seem to revolve around pictures or set lists or discographies....and there are much more organized ones then this poor page here. (Although I do have some pictures - scroll down some) I know! BARENAKED PAPER DOLLS!!! Let me find some adequate pictures and you'll soon be rewarded with Naked Titillation! *evil grin*

Steven Page, El Conquistador
Eloquent and much-beloved lead singer of the Ladies, Steve is a master of the soprano coluratura, AND an acknowledged master of Jai-Alai.
Ed Robertson, the Sacristan
Master Strummer that he is, Ed is most content helping others enjoy the little things in life. He also makes a dandy egg salad sam'wich.
Jim Creeggan, Martre de le mont du fromage
Jim can skydive, did you know that? Not to mention 1998 World Champion Sheep Shearer, Celebrity Division.
Tyler Stewart, The Tractor Man
Tyler is the rhythmic one in the bunch, but don't let that fool you that he's not a talented ballet and interpretive dancer in his own right!!
Kevin Hearn, the Wet Noodle
Don't let Kevin's abrupt presence scare you into thinking he's a scab, because this man can play a mean accordian. (Sorry, Kevin. I thought it was a dulcimer and it was just a backpack guitar. It was really cool meeting you in the park before the concert.) Not to mention his skills as a Fire-Eater.

Well, here's Ed (my fav), the Wonder Machine, fresh after his concert with the Ladies in Sept. '96, Atlanta. It was an awesome show, made better by the fact that all seats were one of two prices: $5.00 or FREE!!!! We were in the front row - we could have touched Tyler as he Shook His Money Maker over the Front Row Guard - if he'd only turned to see what was hovering over him.....heeheehee. Heather's in the Cat-in-the-Hat shirt, Lisa's the one in the 'Boat' shirt and that's me in the red one. :-)
And here's the Sexy Lady....Jim seemed a little dazed at this point...whereas my companions and I were all a little frenetic! Something would come flying out of our mouths a mile a minute, only to follow with him saying "What?" and smiling. He needed to rest. Poor baby.
Tyler was sooooo funny. Jim was kind of quiet on stage. And Kevin, too. But Tyler was a character. One expects it out of the two leads, Steve and Ed, but it made for quite an interesting night. :-) And let's not forget his graceful moves and svelte athletic ability as he danced to Ed and Steve's Beat Box. (What?! Beat Box is ALIVE?? GET FROG!)
This is Kevin, Andy's "replacement" for the tours. He's a nice guy, and really a talented musician. He was placed behind the keyboards, and surprised the other Ladies by whipping out a guitar and jamming with them. I think he was a little scared to see us again - the last time we'd seen the Ladies (our FIRST time!!!) we'd driven over 500 miles to get to Cincinnati in April of 96....At that time in the press releases, there were no plans to come to the Olympic City of 96, so we bucked up, bought gas and trekked up there. The Tour Manager was impressed with our devotion and hence, we met the Ladies backstage. FUN galore! And in Atlanta, he couldn't remember how he remembered us, and then got this scared look when we told him. O'well!

Sadly, we didn't get Steve's mug shot. He was whipped, and before he could shower and make himself presentable to the public, their bus was ready to hit the road. :-( Next time maybe!!!
All pictures taken by Gingerfer! With MY camera. These pics are free to those who want them, but any one who lifts them - please drop me a note so I can check out your website. (psst! LINK right there, eh?!?) Also, if there's any problems via BNL's management, then well.....e-mail me!

Hey, BTW, I'm in the Barenaked Web Ring. But I have to upload all the pretty pictures first....hang on....let's find that info.... GO HOME!!! 1
