For posterity (and so we can get all the cars out of the way) this is me with my old '74 Beetle "Zero". This picture was taken a couple of days before she was out of my life forever.
These lovely ladies are from Brazil. The one on the right is an English teacher (graduate student) that I met on ICQ. I originally met her while she was trying to find someone to practice typing English with :-)
