BRIEF HISTORY

Kitty lived a common life, except for her being a genie on electronics and computers, until her latent mutant powers started revealing. First, they gave her headaches, but later, the ability to pass through solid objects (phase with them) like a ghost (Did I mention that if the object is electronic, it breaks?) Emma Frost (the former White Queen) tried to recruit her for her Massachusset Academy, really a cover for the Hellfire Club activities, but Charles got her first. Being the younger member of a crime-fighter team wasn't as wonderful as she supposed, but she finished feeling that the X Men were her family. She was seriously injured during a confrontation against The Marauders, losing the capacity to turn herself solid, but helped by Reed Richards and Dr. Doom, recovered slowly. The bad thing about this is that while she was at Muir Isle, the X-Men death was broadcasted on TV (Of course they DIDN'T die!!!), so she teamed with Nightcrawler, Rachel, Captain Britain and Meggan to form Excalibur. Added to her mutant power, she's got a lot of ninja abilities, earned while she was possesed by Ogun after her parents divorce.
