BRIEF HISTORY

Dani lost her parents being a child, because of an enormous mystic bear, being raised by her grandfather in the mountains, where she learned to live in the wild, and developed a sort of empathy with the animals (that would later allow a telepathic link between her and Wolfsbane in her wolf form). Her power consisted at first in the ability of forming images of people most feared or desired things.

The first time those powers appeared, she showed unwillingly to Black Eagle his own death at hands of the Hellfire club goons. The old man called them Xavier, a friend of him, and asked him to take care of the girl when he died. She joined the New Mutants, very reluctantly at first, and became co-leader with CannonBall, gaining control of her powers after some mistakes.

She had the chance of facing again his mystic bear, resulting in a confrontation of the whole team against the beast into the Bad Lands, a sort of magic realm, and achieving a great victory thanks to Illyana's soul sword. Dani almost got paralytic, but the Healer ,from the morlocks, left her o.k. and she rejoined her parents, who werenèt dead but bewitched into the form of the bear.

During The Asgardian Wars, she found a winged horse drowning in a swamp and rescued him, being accepted by a group of young warrior women that were really the walkyries. Without her knowledge, she turned in one of them and adquired a new power : the ability to see the shadow of death over people whose end is near. She also improved her old spirit forms powers, being able at the point of solidifying one form at the time.

Bad news were that since she was one of Hela's maidens, her life wouldn't be the same, and she almost lost control of her powers during the last asgardian crisis, burning in flames and turning evil.

She was taken then to Asgard by the New Mutants and stayed there for a while, being turned the team into X Force by the time she returned.
