Shard

Not much is known about the hologram named Shard. She is Bishop's little sister, however she happens to be dead in the future from whence she came. Feeling remorse over his sister' death, Bishop apparently put together a holo-projector and programmed all that he remembered of her into it. When he travelled back in time, he happened to have it with him, and we briefly saw him use only on rare occasions. When he was fighting Mountjoy (Bishop limited series) the container was severely damaged. Bishop handed it over to Forge, who consequently tinkered on it. While he has not gotten around to fixing it, he claims that it is not possible that she sporadically appear like Wildchild claims. However, it is true as all we readers of X-Factor should know. It's interesting to note that she and Wildchild have been flirting heavily, even though she has no real body!

Powers:

Shard posesses the ability to release plasma blasts similar to Havok, but on a much smaller scale. She also has incredible reflexes, but whether these are superhuman or not is yet to be determined. Superior fighting skills and weapons training are also at her disposal.
