A name
by any other Rose. . . My life long fascination
with names/surnames and their meanings/origins is an offshoot of my yen
for foreign languages. I have gathered my favorite names, the names
of friends, and unusual names over the years and will post them on this
portion of the website. Not yet under construction, I hope to have
this portion of the site up and running by February 2002 with an alphabetical
listing of these names, bibliography, links to online resources, and a
means for visitors to post names they have encountered.
