The Games of Saberhaven
Seishi Ki vs. Elknor
Seishi rund into the Arena and immediately fires her crossbow at the thief. The bolt flies far right so she shrugs, slings the crossbow over her back and moves to meet the elf in the center of the Arena with staff in hands.
Elknor moves to meet her in the center of the arena, holding forth his longsword in his right hand.
The monk moves somewhat faster than the elf to meet his on his side of center of the Arena. She spins her staff with extrordinary speed and what should have cloaked the elf along side the head completely misses. She glares intently at the displaced elf, trying to get a bead on him.
Elknor returns with his own thrust of his longsword to her flank, but Seishi dodges easily and returns to her neutral stance.
The dexterious elf dodges the first swing of the monk. He returns with a stab from his sword, but fails to strike home. Again the woman swings her staff, but fails to land a shot.
Elknor waits for the monk to attack. When she does, he tries to dodge her blow. She catches him on the leg hard, but he maages to step to the right, forcing her to twist 180 degrees. he slips his dagger from its sheath and stabs at her backside.
"Aargh!" screams the woman. With a preterbed look on her face, and blood oozing down her back, she spins and catches the elf in the head again with her staff.
In somewhat of a frenzy, the theif goes all out attacking with both dagger and sword. He steps in with the sword, but swings at empty air as Seishi smashes him int he back with her staff.
Elknor uppercuts with his quick dagger, but gets caught across the arm and face with the quick staff once again, knocking him unconscious.
