The Games of Saberhaven Kaledon vs. Jurak
|
The Iceling enters the Arena tumbling quickly towards his human opponent. Kaledon carefully walks forth shield in hand, then when the Iceling is about 70 feet from him, he releases a rainbow colored beam from his helmet which cuts stright across the palying field and into the Iceling. Engulfed in green light, the Iceling seems to miss the worst of it, dodging away quickly, but still suffers obviously from the light. Going to work quickly, the Icling scores the first blow with his large sword. He parries a couple of blows from the man before missing his own thrust. Kaledon's sword busrts into flames as he attacks. Suddenly a blindingly bright light is cast right from Kaledon's helm at Jurak's eyes. He manages to close them and resist the blinding effects at the last second, the light casting a long shadow from behind him. Jurak tries to parry but the longsword of Kaledon's slips under and scores a scratch on the Iceling's flank. Returning the blow, the Iceling bashes the helmet of his opponent, hoping to destroy it, but to no avail. He targets Kaledon's sword arm on his next strike and succeeds in breaking it. The fighter's sword drops to the ground and his arm hangs limply at his side. Jurak swings for Kaledon's opposite leg, then shield arm, then other leg. The Iceling fails to hit his three shots, but is hit in the face with a fireball from the helmet. The Iceling strikes out, landing the blade of each sword in the sides of Kaledon. The man falls to the ground unconscious.
