The Games of Saberhaven
Sky Shadow vs. Eremon Milesios
        The crowd cheers as the two combatants enter the Arena. From one side, steps the man in black, Sky Shadow. His black clothes and mask completely conceal his identity. Visible on his body are his katana, wakizashi, and various daggers and shuriken. As he takes his position, his opponent enters the Arena. Eremon Milesios is a muscular man. His flesh ripples in the light of the day. Eremon is clad only in boots, short breeches and bracers. He carries a shortsword on his back, and in each of his hands he holds a spear.
        The signal to begin sounds throughout the Arena, and Eremon slowly begins to move toward Sky Shadow. The ninja also begins his slow trek toward the center of the arena. As the distance begins to close between the two, Sky Shadow begins to move toward the side of the Arena, and the two warriors begin to circle one another as their spiral tightens.
        With the speed of thought, Sky Shadow grabs a shuriken and hurls it at Eremon. Eremon curses himself for letting his opponent get the first shot in as the shuriken rips into his shoulder. Eremon then tries to close the gap between the two warriors, but instead of moving forward, he finds himself moving down to the ground as his field of vision closes rapidly. Sky Shadow's eyes crinkling from a smile are the last things Eremon sees before he passes out.
