The Games of Saberhaven
Aranitian vs. Kydophell

Two strange characters enter the Arena for a fight on this pleasent afternoon. To one side if the elf Kydophell, an evil warrior-priest of the Devil King Admodeus. His piercing white eyes stare into the Arena with a look of hate, his platinum hair waving freely in the breeze. His dark plate armor absorbs light and gleams at the same time, his hamer and dagger ready at his side.
At the opposite end steps out what some think of as a giant, being 11'6", but others know as an arcane, a magical race of giant blue humoanids who are rarely seen. The arcane called Arsanitian exibits the long fingers and black eyes his race is known to have. he carries a staff and a longsword at his side.
Kydophell seems to finish a spell though no effect is noticable to the audience. Suddenly, the Arcane disappears.
The evil priest takes no chance and summons forth a wall of whirling blades directly in front of his tall opponent.
Looks for a minute waiting to see if Arsanitian becomes visible, when suddenly he's hit by huge hail stones pelting him.
Looking up after the storm, the elf spies his opponent only 50 yards from him. Kydophell calls upon his foul god to bring down a pillar of flame on the massive blue mage.
Arsanitian turns invisible again before the warrior-priest has time to finish another spell. Kydoephell loses track of the arcane, then a bit later hears the sound of thunder.
A lightning bolt streaks out at Kydophell. The priest dodges the brunt of it but is still scorched and deafened. Arsanitian is standing ten yards behind the warrior.
Arsanitian once again turns invisible, but Kydophell turns around and lashes out with his longsword before the invisible man can get away. The quick slash suddenly seems to be turned away from its intended target.
Kind of confused, not knowing any item that deflects sword attacks, Kydophell begins to cast a spell.
From 15 yards to the side of him, he hears, "Let thy bones begin to chill and the frost may even kill, but do not worry for you will not catch a cold!" A stream of cold washes over the fighter-priest, completely engulfing him.
The arcane stands visible 15 yards to the side of Kydophell.
Arsanitian backs up, grabbing a rod into his left hand while holding foth his staff in his right. Kydophell commands his opponent to "Freeze!" The arcane stops in his tracks, allowing Kydophell to move over and slash at him before he can activate his staff's powers.
Arsanitian comes unfrozen looking rather bedraggled.
The arcane pulls forward and potion and quaffs it. Meanwhile, Kydophell invokes another blessing of his god. Arsanitian becomes frozen again, this time in mid-quaff.
Kydophell pulls out his hammer, steps forward and pounds down hard on the arcane. A loud clap of thunder and Arsanitian collapses.
The warrior-priest stands over the large blue of body for a long minute. Still held and stunned, Kydophell looks for any sign of life. He hammers again and again, making sure his opponent stays down.
The judges wave and annouce Kydophell the winner.
