The Games of Saberhaven
The Warlord vs. Thurgol Hammerhand

It is beautiful today in Saberhaven; the stands are packed today. The nice weather and the entertainment offered by the firbolg fighter Thurgol has drawn many people today. He is known for his in-your-face slugging and his array of magic items. All hope he will beat his opponent today, the evil and oh so boring Warlord.
Stepping in from one side is The Warlord. The crowd barely sees his evil grin and shining swords before he vanishes. On the other side of the Arena, Thurgol steps forward, he turns invisible also, all the crowds see is a massive giant holding a large gem as he vanishes.
The fight goes rapidly downhill from there. The crowd sits in the stands holding their breath, waiting for the combat to erupt. One minute, two minutes pass, nothing happens.
Someone shouts, "This sucks, come out of hiding you pansies!" There is a murmur of assent from the crowds. Another minute passes, the finally something happens! The crowd sees Thurgol appear in mid air pointing down at the ground, a splash of color leaps from his hand and lances into something on the ground.
Thurgol floats down slowly, and then the judges announce that Thurgol is the winner. The Warlord appears suddenly on the ground, his skin is a sickly green and his body is bloated grotesquely. Thurgol toes him in the ribs the turns to the crowds. He says in a heavy Scottish accent, "Ack ladies, 'erribly sorry about that crappy fight." He turns to the Arena guards and says in the same voice, "Perhaps you wee gents would like to take up a little ol' fight with me, a friendly 'bout you know." The Head guard replies with a firm "No, now push off."
Thurgol says "Well that's a shame laddie, I was just trying to let these 'honest folks have a wee bit of a true fight. Ack well, here you be ladies an' gents, a bit of true skill."
Thurgol then launches into an amazing show of hammer skill. He spins them round in small pin wheels moving around and in between them, he launches them through incredibly attack routines all the while moving into rolls and tumbles, never once missing a beat in the spinning. He stands still and has them increase in their velocity, when they suddenly burst into flame! The crowd blinks after the sudden burst of light, and to their surprise, Thurgol is nowhere to be seen. The priests then rush out and pull the body of The Warlord off the Arena floor as the crowd cheers for that post game show.
