Solace vs. Arrngha

The crowd waits restlessly for the competitors to enter the Arena.  This
promises to be an old fashioned contest between two warriors.  With victory
going to the strongest, most skilled or quickest.

Stepping in one side through the polished stone doors is Solace. He is
covered head to toe in burnished steel mail and a massive glowing sword in
his hands. Strapped across his back is another large sword which glows with
golden light.

On the other end stands the Minotaur Arrngha.  Arrngha is large and lean at
7'10" tall and 495 lbs.  His ears pelt is well groomed and black, marred
only by his numerous battle wounds. Arrngha has 5 gold rings in each ear and
has filed all his teeth to points.  As Arrngha enters he fires an arrow at
Solace which misses badly.

As Solace closes with Arrhgha, Solace is hit by 2 arrows.  Solace then
swings his greatsword at Arrngha.  While the sword is traveling towards the minotaur,
he takes two swings at Solace's head.  Arrngha misses both times.  Unfortunately for
Arrngha, Solace doesn't miss.

Solace yells "TEMPUST" as Arrngha goes into a defensive stance.  Arrngha
swings once barely missing the paladin.  Solace swings twice to hit, missing with the
first swing.  Arrngha swings twice to block the second swing and misses both times

Seeing that he is getting the worst of this, Arrngha throws himself at
his opponent; slashing at the armored man with a desperate frenzy of blows.
Arrngha hits and then misses.  This obviously surprised Solace, who was
praying for a swift end to the battle against the beast.  Solace swings
wildly, his greatsword pulling him off balance.

Seeing a slight waver in his opponent's onslaught, Arrngha presses his
attack.  He viciously stikes three times at his opponent.  Solace desperately
tries to defend himself and get back into his fighting stance.  But only
after Arrngha hits twice does Solace seem to regain his composure.

Arrngha then swings twice, the first blow hits Solace in the head, the
second hits normally.  Solace collapses onto the ground.
