The Games of Saberhaven
Koobon vs. Tak'Nak'Raq

The crowd cheers for the gladiator slave known as Koobon, a centaur under the command of Romus Todd, the gladiator slave-master.
From the other end comes a three-foot tall halfling with waist length black hair and covered with tatoos. Some guffahs are heard from the crowd, not taking the made-up short one seriously.
The centuar holds his shortbow ready and gallops closer to get within range.
Tak' looks across the arena at his opponet, and inclines his head slightly. He is a magnificent specimin, a massive, well muscled centaur.
Tak' smiles. He can defeat this one.
Reaching into his mind he draws on his resevoir of the Way, checking it's depth and readiness. Breaking into a run himself, Tak' crosses the terrian at a blinding speed, psionic force flowing through his body.
When the distance between the two closes somewhat Tak' unleashes a mind attack, a prope to try and open his opponents mind. As he does so, he pits the centaur's ego and superego at odds, temporarily stunning the poor centaur.
Tak' lets loose a feral cry, reminicent of jungle cats, and hurtles forward, his small frame blindlingly fast. His twin steel blades in front of him he whirls them through a myriad of attacks, seeking to finish his prey.
Tak hammers away on the stunned centaur, nearly killing him before he regains his composure and defends himself.
His shortswords slick with blood, Tak' dances around the legs of his much larger opponent, seeking to slash a hamstring, bring the centaur to his knees, and the battle to an end.
Tak's quick sword strikes first as the centaur comes to. Before he can react, the halfling strikes him down.
Koobon falls to the ground unconscious.
