The crowd in the audience today prepares for the upcoming fight. No one is really sure what to expect. This will be the first time in the Arena for both of this fight's competitors, both of whom are women. With the fight scheduled to start in only five minutes, the two opponents are preparing themselves for the fight. With so little known of the fighters, there is very little betting going on. Mostly the people are just waiting for the fight to begin. Suudenly, one of the doors at the end of the Arena is pushed open. The people sit up as the first woman, the druid Lily, steps into the Arena a full two minutes early. Dressed in regular clothes, with no sign of any armor, Lily stands there. A couple guards come from the side entrance to the Arena, but the druid seems content to wait by her door, and the guards leave. The druid has three scimitars attached to her belt, and a staff is strapped to her back. She wears a plain silver ring on her left hand, and her face is covered by a wooden mask. Several stones float about her head, and it looks like she is holding a sling in her gloved hand. While she waits, occasional flashes of her ioun stones, and almost imperceptable glimmers give evidence to lurking magic surrounding her. A few minutes later, the time for the fight arrives, and the announcer presents Lily to the crowd. As he announces her opponent, the doors to the Arena slowly grind open, and as they begin to move, a voice, loud enough to gain quiet from the people of the arena, and with the magics of the field, loud enough to travel around the spectators swiftly. "AND NOW! The Saberhaven Arena's favorite door, is proud to present, a newcomer to the games and member of the Disciples of Stormhawk.....KIRI!!!!!!!!!!" Seen amongst the dust of the Arena floor, comes a white ball of motion, rolling forwards at a fast pace, passing through the doors, then stopping. The white ball sits there for some time, before with a flurry of movement, Kiri stands up, her pure white cloak unraveling from around her and dramatically flaring out behind her lithe form. Kiri is a slim, full figured young girl, with a mischevious glint in her bright Green eyes everywhere she goes with her springy step. Her long blonde hair hangs in a neat ponytail down to the small of her back. She wears a suit of lightweight, non-restrictive (and very revealing) green leathers, leaving her stomach and long shapely legs exposed, and struggling to contain her more bountiful atributes. A white cloak, perfect and unstained hangs down from her back, cascading down from her slim shoulders. Her forearms are encased with bracers, made of a strange green metal, and with the runes of obvious enchantments sparkling along their length. An amulet hangs on a silver chain about her neck and she wears a neat but large belt around her waist. Her gauntleted hands are adorned by a pair of large rings, one, a simple platinum band, unadorned save for a small set of engraving that is impossible to read with the naked eye, the other gemmed with a small fire opal, set with a diamond on either side, the fire opal glowing and burning slowly. Upon her slender legs are a pair of knee high boots, with small wings painted upon the heels of each of the large green leather footwear articles. Always circling around her head are 5 simple stones, twirling about her slowly as she moves gracefully. Her twin scimitars hang in their scabbards from her waist, even the scabbards are a soft green colour. A simple composite bow hangs on her back, along with a quiver full of arrows. Her face is hidden this day however as she pulls up the reddish-gold mask that normally hung from her waist. The mask has no eyeholes, instead having a pair of brightly burning fire opals where the eyes should be, and surrounding each eye-gem are 5 smaller firegems. The rest of the fire colored mask is coated in detailed patterns of small diamons and rubies, almost a hundred of the tiny gems. This item, and the pure white cloak stand out amazingly against her otherwise green clad form. "Good day to you all" she calls out brightly to the crowd. "I bid you all greeting from the Disciples of Stormhawk... but..." she laughs lightly and turns her head to face the druid across from her. "I believe we have business to attend too." With that she turns to face her opponent, squaring off opposite her opponent. Her voice rings softly out in sweetened words of spidery magic, and she presses her fingers to her mask as if kissing them, then 'blows' her kiss across at the druid. A flash of blue light burns around Kiri and she dissappears, only to re-appear a mere 120ft from Lily's entrance, she turns swiftly around to face her opponent at the now much much closer range. Going into a crouch at Kiri's sudden teleportation, Lily reaches for her weapons. With the twist of a wrist, the sling wraps around Lily's forearm, and her hands go for her scimitars. The third scimitar is grabbed by a long tail which was previously hidden among the folds of her cloak. Running forward, she quickly closes the distance, while Kiri tries to remember the words for her next spell. Before she even reaches for her components, Lily is on her. Unsure which of the six duplicates is the real Kiri, Lily slices into one, but her sword richochets off, with the sound of steel hitting stone. There is a shifting, and she is again unsure which is her opponent. With a flurry of blades, moving unnaturally fast, she attacks, each of her next five strikes hitting a fake, and causing it to fade to nothingness. With the duplicates gone, Lily focuses on her true opponent, raining another three blows down on her. Each is deflected by the stoneskin that surrounds Kiri. As the last blow strikes, Kiri -undisturbed by the blades flashing at her again and again- finishes her incantation. Suddenly Lily is pushed back as a twelve foot hand takes form between the two women. Kiri laughs a soft laugh of approval and her voice is heard loudly and clearly. "Well done Lady Lily, most impressive." Her own hands slide to the hilts of her blades, and she slips them out easily, twirling them in the air with the skilled hands of a master. "Now, get rid of this pesky thing and let's try that again." Her swords come to a deadly halt in the air before her, and she freezes still, unmoving as she faces her opponent. With a slight smile, Lily steps forward to face the hand. Her smile changes to a look of surprise when it suddenly disappears just before she attacks it. Seemingly the thing was an illusion. Forgetting about the hand, Lily moves forward to strike at her opponent. Both fighters blades burst into motion, moving almost too quickly for the eye to see. There is the repeated clang of Kiri's stoneskin being hit. Nearly a full minute passes and it's hard to tell how many strikes have hit. And then one of the warriors cries in sudden pain. Kiri slashes forward, her blade arcing for Lily's throat. However, like all her previous strikes, it ricochets off of the druid, flashing back to slice deeply across her arm. Her stoneskins gone, the blade brings forth a burst of blood. Struggling on, Kiri is quickly hit twice more by Lily, as well as by two of her rebounded attacks. As the scimitars cut her open she collapses to the ground, blood flowing freely on the ground of the Arena. With a final gasp the light goes out in her eyes, and she is still. Looking to the judges, Lily waits as the three briefly confer, then declare her the winner. With the decision announced, Lily reaches down to Kiri. One of her ioun stones flashes, and the fallen woman stirs. Helping her to her feet, Lily walks with her back to her entry door.
