The Games of Saberhaven
Seishi Ki vs. Guurnsh
Seishi steps forth, then stops and awaits the oncoming charge, pulling her crossbow and firing at Guurnsh.
The bolt flies wide and the bull-man clses the gap. The woman warrior drops her crossbow and holds forth her staff for protection.
As the minotaur gets within a few feet, Seishi sidesteps the charge and troes to swat the bull-man with her staff. Guurnsh dodges it and returns with a swing from his two-handed sword.
Neither party connecting on first attempts, Guursh chops again at the woman and catches her arm.
Shocked a bit, the monk barely manages to swing her staff, and misses by a mile.
Guurnsh tries to knock the staff form the monk's hands, but Seshi holds too tight. She lashes back with the staff.
Giving up that strategy, the evil man slams his two-handed sword into the far eastern woman.
Seishi strikes back immediately with the quick staff.
Abandoning all attempts at subtlety, the raging bull hacks at her with manic ferocity. She dodges the sloppy attacks and manages to sneak in one of her own.
Bleeding from numerous wounds, Guurnsh gets a bit more defensive. He seems to pull back more and defend with his sword on the monk's staff jabs. Seishi fails to get inside his defences, while the minotaur manages to infiltrate her defences with his two-handed sword.
Guurnsh continues his defensive posture, watching for a sign of weakness in the little woman. He finally sees it and manages a stabbing blow before she can counter with her staff. Seishi falls unconscious to the cheers of the crowd.
