The Games of Saberhaven
Koobon vs. Gunnar Overdark
        The mul enters the ring to face his centaur opponent, draws two daggers and waits. He sees the centaur draw up his short bow and take aim.
        Gunnar moves closer and punches out with his mind at the centaur. The force doesn't seem to effect the centaur as he fires his bow thrice times.
       The first shot completely misses, due to the displacement of the Mul. The second and thrid shots flie true, but are slowed somewhat by a barrier of mental energy around the mul.
        The mul throws his own missile weapons in the form of throwing daggers while the centaur continues to fire his bow.
        The centaur lands two shots, again slowed by the bubble of energy around the mul.
        Gunnar misses with his first two daggers, and then on the third sprains his wrist, dropping the dagger and immobilzing his wrist.
        The centaur laughs but loses soncentration himself and stubles on his remaining bow shot.
       The mul takes the chance to disappear from sight. The centaur picks himself up, decides to hold onto his bow with arrow cocked and waits.
       About two minutes later, the mul appears, focusing his mental energies on the centaur. The centaur resists the attack and fires his arrow.
       The first arrow is again slowed by the energy bubble around the mul, but strikes Gunnar in the side.
       The second shot finishes the mul. His limp body slumps ot the ground and the crowd cheers for the centaur gladiator.
