Since pixies are beings of magic. They also are big on illusions. Flips lived with magical creatures and illusion much of his childhood. While not able to detect illusion like some pixies are able, he did get to experience the feeling of magic being woven about him to create illusions. That plus the art of the bow are the main things he has from his childhood. His acrobatics came from the circus he was a prisoner in. Even though they were a part of the dark time in his life, they were one of the things that helped him get through it. In the religious temple learning to become a cleric of TLO, Flips had classes and tasks. Some of the classes Flips had were in music, magic, and martial arts. In music Flips has a basic understanding of most of the common instruments and musical theory. His chosen instrument the flute, however, is his specific study. As been demonstrated, he can create and maintain a flute. He was also schooled in exotic and complex play of the flute. As for magic... Flips learned clerical spells, chants, and the normal cleric studies. But being that TLO has ties to basic magic as well, Flips learned about mages spells as well. Entertainment is the main area of study of the art, creation and life was also a part. Flips was also instructed on the art of spell design, and magical item creation. Flips to a point missed out on most of the martial arts classes, but was starting in the basic classes at the time he was called to be sent out on quest by the high priests. Flips received guidance by a spirit guide, which meant he was being given a quest created by TLO himself. The tasks Flips had in the temple were primarily centered on the children. Juggling for their entertainment, using cantrips to amaze them, and storytelling. Flips also used his healing spells to aid the children, and their mothers. Since parks and flowering meadows gave children safe places to play, Flips also learned of the importance of plant life. Quote: "When one laughs, one heals. When one is healed, one lives.
