That's a good question!

The answer is yes.  As I recall, of the several bees I saw hanging around these flowers and berries, these are the two that actually appeared to be asleep.  I tried disturbing them slightly. . . . no response at all.  The bottom bee imitated a bat:  it was upside-down.
