Einstein's theory of relativity precludes mass moving faster than light but information is not massy and there is no natural prohibition on the speed of transmission of information. A beam of inverse tachyons precisely excited to energy levels carefully gauged to the distance to the receiver carry an extremely high frequency wave of digital information. The tachyons have exactly enough energy to cover half the trip going backwards in time at which point they become inverse inverse tachyons and begin traveling forward in time arriving at the receiver instantaneously. There is only an echo of the original digital information sent but advanced pattern matching algorithms prove adequate for complete retreival. Inverse tachyon technology allows us to link to Alpha Centauri in the same way we use microwaves or satellites here on Earth.
Soon, after the resolution of certain legal disputes centering around galactic intellectual property rights in general and specifically focusing upon disputes caused by identical and similar domain names on a variety of planets, you will be able to send and receive mail to extra-terrestrials as easily as you can send to Moscow or Timbuktu now. Until then we hope to serve as a bridge site, a clearinghouse for information about inverse tachyon technology and how to use it, and a mail drop for all concerned independent of race, species, or planet of origin.
