IG-2000 was the starship owned and operated by the assassin droid IG-88. It was destroyed by Boba Fett when IG-88 tried to move in on the frozen Han Solo, in space over Tatooine. After that, IG-88 escaped to the Ord Mantell Junkyards, where he was looking for spare parts to rebuild his ship. Dash Rendar came looking after him to try to find out Boba Fett's location.
The battered war droid IG-88 was among the bounty hunters commissioned by Lord Darth Vader to hunt down and capture the Millennium Falcon and its crew after the battle of Hoth. IG-88 is one of the worst assassin droids ever created. After an unsuccessful search, the droid tried to capture the frozen Han Solo from Boba Fett's hands. He located Fett's ship using a signal beacon he had previously installed in the Slave I. Unfortunately for the droid, Boba Fett destroyed IG-88's ship, launching the bounty hunter into deep space.

Imperial Strike Cruisers are medium-sized ships often used in small battle situations and to patrol sectors. They are not as well equiped as Star Destroyers, but they have full squadrons of TIE fighters. A Imperial Strike Cruiser located the Rebel Fleet by accident after the battle of Hoth. Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron successfully destroyed the vessel.
