On the planet Ord Mantell, Han Solo met up with and escaped from a pair of bounty hunters who were after the reward placed on him. The planet is home to a great starship junkyard. IG-88 fled to Ord Mantell looking for spare parts for his vessel, which had been destroyed by Boba Fett. Dash Rendar encountered IG-88 inside a salvage plant and destroyed the droid after a hard battle.

When this shipping company, a competitor of the Dark Prince's Xizor Transport Systems, attempts to overturn XTS's domination of the spice trade in the Bajic sector, the full fury of Xizor is unleashed: agent Guri personally kills leading Ororo executives with her bare hands and blasters, while Xizor persuades the Emperor to send Vader on a mission that, ostensibly aimed at destroying a secret Rebel shipyard, in fact destroys Ororo operations.
The Outrider is Dash Rendar's state-of-the-art vessel. It has smooth lines, heavy cannon mounted above and below, and it shines with a dark gleam, like chrome. With an off-set cockpit module like the Millennium Falcon, this ship is a top-of-the-line craft.
