      The Predacon and the Maximal ship crash on an unknown planet. On their way down, the Maximal ship ejects stasis pods. Both ships are damaged beyond repair. Due to high Energon radiation levels, the Preds and Maximals have to stay in their beast forms when they leave their ships. Megatron kicks out Dinobot for challenging him. The Maximals and the Predacons have their first fight. When the Maximals return to base, Dinobot challenges Optimus Primal for leadership. (end of Part One)
      In part 2, Dinobot has joined the ranks of the Maximals, after Optimus saves his life. Megatron encounters a gigantic Energon cristal, and the Maximals have to run fast to stop the Predacons from minening. They have a second fight on top of the Energon mountain, which ends in a gigantic explosion.

7. Is it true theres a directors cut of Transformers the Movie? (Question by Roland)

      YES!!! There were definitely a few scenes(very small and insignificant though) cut out.
      In fact there is one page (I'm not sure where) you can download them along with a presentation from that narrator guy. The scenes are of unicron eating Lithone from a different angle and Kup telling his stories, etc. I don't know everything I never took the 2 hours to download it. I've heard that there is one large scene that was cut out but I have no clue if this is true.

       There was a second Transformers movie. I don't think it was in theatres, but it was definitely on video. It was called 'The Return Of Optimus Prime.' You can probably guess what this sequel was about.

      USA Cartoons: He is leading the Autobot survivors on Cybertron in a new Golden Age

      Sorry to say that the best Autobot is dead. In the Transformers movie he was killed by Megatron.
      HotRod was taken hostage by Megatron so Optimus could'nt do anything.Megatron shot Optimus till he was neer death and then threw HotRod. Megatron walked over to Optimus to finish him and Optimus used the last ouce of strength he had left to knock Megatron off a small cliff at Autobot City.
      Optimus slowly died and Megatron was thrown out into space by Starscream because he was near death. Near death Megatron was found by Unicron. I won't tell you anymore because I don't want to spoil it for you. Rent the movie.

      Larry DiTillio stated on ATT (alt.toys.transformers) that Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime are two completely different characters. Optimus Primal is a low ranking Maximal space exlporation vessel commander, who bears the name 'Optimus' to honor the great Autobot Leader.

3. Hello there fellow Transformer buddies, I am currently writng an essay on Transformers and would appreciate a little help.
   I would like to find out early background information on Transformers such as where and how they originated?
   What are the differences between the Japanese market, American market and the European market?
   I would also like to know if there is an address for Hasbro or any of the other manufacturers that I could write to in my quest for information.

     Transformers orignated from Cyberton where the Autobots and Decepticons fought constantly. Finally one day, when the worlds resources had evaporated. The Decepticons and Autobots both left and fought in the air. They both ended up crashing on Earth, where they were dormint for thousands of years until the mountain settled and woke the sleeping ship computer and made it all happen.

       Of course the original Transformers would win in a fight!! They're friggin' 2 stories high while the "Beast Warriors" are the size of monkeys and cheetahs. Plus the fact that they have *real* vehicle transformations and could easily and literally crush them. Also, there are a hell of a lot more originals than BW's!!!

17. I've noticed that in the original Transformers, (and Generation 2), Optimus was a name, and not a rank. Like when Optimus Prime died, Hot Rod took on the name Prime, entitling him to leadership of the Autobots. But in BW, it seems that Optimus means 'captain', or at least that's how I've perceived it. Am I correct in thinking this? (Question by Demonik)

      A Transmetal is a vacummed Maximal/Predacon. Which means that in robot mode, it has more beast-like parts. In beast mode it has mechanical parts to it and a third mode. But actually, a Transmetal in Beast Wars has lots of mechanical parts in both modes. That is good though, because Transmetals are harder to damage.
