Zan's Cave
The runes on this door are dificult to make out. They are in no language you have seen before.
Some 5 paces by 8 it has been carved from the living rock with a careful hand. Aside from the round table and high-backed chair which you saw from the door, another half dozen smaller chairs are stacked against the cave walls. The walls are bare but smooth as is the floor, aside from a plain woollen rug. Two wooden doors are in the wall opposite the one you came in through. One has a sturdy lock and a sign in strange runes upon it, the other is smaller and has no lock.
The broken door leads to the cave complex and the outside world.

A small simply furnished room with a single bed with drawers underneath.
A large fireplace in the north wall gives plenty of heat to drive away the damp and chill of the underground realm. Two large cupboards hold pewter plates, iron knives and forks, clay mugs and a few silver goblets. A door leads into a storeroom.
The storeroom contains an assortment of chests, crates, baskets and barrels. A wine rack holds a selection of fine wines from southern Bormaris and even a bottle of Hraest, a strong dwarven spirit.
The most striking feature of this room are the tall windows in the western wall. Barely eighteen inches wide but stretching from floor to ceiling they look out over the valley. Nearby you canb see a small stream tumble down the valley side to join a larger river below. You would guess that no one could ever guess this place was here unless they were standing right before the windows. A long table with padded benches and a bookcase with an assortment of books completes the furnishings.
A large iron tub set into the tiled floor of this room is fed by two iron spigots in the shape of fish. One has rubies for eyes the other has sapphires.
A wooden bench with a hole in the centre stretches across the western wall of this room. The bench has been worn smooth by the passage of many occupants. A box of soft cotton rags is attached to the wall. A copper ring is just below it, pulling on it seems to release a torrent of water below the seat.
