Kender Weapons and Items




  • The Battak:

    (Dmg 1d8/1d8; Spd 7; Type B)
    The battak which is a slapping stick is also a walking with a vareity of differant items on it. Young kender really like it. It looks like a small club with studds on it it has a small metal wedge at its small end and studds at its wide end. A wooden stopper at the wide end can be unscrewed releasing a small knife. The inside of it contains small sling bullets which can be thrown with alot of force (Dmg 1d4+2/1d6+2). Bells and chimes and whistles are usually on the battak to make noice during a battle or to swing and make music when they are bored. It can be used as a:
  • bat
  • crow bar
  • spear
  • climbing tool and a
  • musical instrument



  • The Bollik:

    (Dmg 1d4+2/1d3+2; Spd 6; Type B)
    The Bollik is a belt which has bolas on it it is a webbed rope belt worn as a belt duh!. On one end a bunch of heavy balls hang on a rope when worn they are hung on a metal buckle. It can be tugged free and relaced in two rounds. It can be used as a:
  • flail
  • bola -2 to damage
  • grain thrasher
  • grappling hook
  • net to entangle enemies
  • rope ladder
  • pouch
  • wind thrummer



  • The Chapak:

    (Dmg 1d6+1/1d4+1; Spd 4; Type B/S)
    The chapak (snapper axe) is basically a handaxe with a sling shot on it. It single balded head is on a hollow handle made of ironwood. The back of it form two parts that have a sling on them (1d4/1d4). The handle has finger holes in it making it a flute if the end plugs were removed. It can be used as a:
  • Axe
  • A slingshot
  • Using as a crowbar
  • A flute
  • Snorkeling
  • A blowgun (1/1)
  • grappling hook



  • The Hachak:

    (Dmg 2d4+1/2d6+1; Spd 8; Type P/S)
    The Hatchak or pole axe is the heaviest kender tool and was made to cut wood. On one end of it's 6 inch (or was that foot?) long segmented handle there is a hammer a spike and a piercing beak. On the other end is a blade backed by a hammer end and a saw. It has metal rings a 1 foot intervals (I guess it was foot) along the handle. The handle can be broken into three parts if needed. Below the axe there is holder usually made of sheepskin which holds up to 6 darts. The hammer and beak are weapons (Dmg 2d4/1d6). The darts are normal darts with normal damage (Dmg 1d4/1d4). It can be used as a:
  • Axe for wood splitting
  • Hammer for nailing stuff
  • Ladder
  • Tree pruner
  • Chime by hitting the blades.



  • The Hoopak:

    (Dmg 1d6+2/1d4+2; Spd/type 2/PB)
    The hoopak is the most common thing yuo will ever find in my hands. The Hoopak is a 5 foot long ironwood staff with a spike on one end. On the other end the Hoopak forks to then laced with gut. You can shoot a stone from it by sticking the spike end in the ground and bending it back or whirling it overhead like a staff-sling. It makes a roaring sound when being whirled overhead. It can be used as a:
  • Spear
  • Staff
  • Stone shooter
  • Crowbar
  • Picking apples with gut
  • Using as a bullroar.
