Nat and Nicky
by Pam (Jaxie) Williamson
Sung to the tune of "Jack and Diane" by Jack Cougar (whatever his name is now)
Little ditty about Nat and Nicky
Two Toronto loves fightin' crime at homicide
Nicky wants to be a mortal guy
Nat'll find the cure if she's got to steal or lie
Suckin' on bottled cow at his loft watchin' a movie
Nat's sittin' on Nicky's lap
He has a hand between her knees
Nicky say, "Hey Nat, let's go up,
Turn off that tv,
Lay you down in those silky sheets
Let me do what I please."
Then Nicky say-
"Oh yeah, night goes on
Long after the thrill of dyin' is gone
Oh yeah, night goes on
Long after the thrill of dyin' is gone, they drink on..."
Nicky sets back, collects his thoughts after their moment
Crinkles his brow and does his best Joe Reese,
"Well you know Nat, we need to get back to the precinct."
Nat say, "Nicky, you know we aren't missing anything.."
Nicky says-
"Oh yeah, night goes on
Long after the thrill of dyin' is gone
Oh yeah, night goes on
Long after the thrill of dyin' is gone,
Gonna let it Rock
Let it Roll...
Let LaCroix go ahead and
damn my soul
Hold to the hope as long as you can
The cure is out there somewhere
Then we'll be wife and man."
