Police Headquarters

by Pam (Jaxie) Williamson

Sung to the tune of "Copacabana" by Barry Manilow

Her name was Nat'lie, she was a coroner
With yellow pencils in her hair and a labcoat cut down to there-
She would preform tests, and do autopsies
And while she tried to do her job,
Nicky always was the cop-
Across the crowded street,
They worked from five to six,
They were cute & could have each other, why couldn't they get it straight?

At the precinct, police headquarters,
The hottest place in all of Toronto-
At the precinct, police headquarters,
Arrests and passion were always in fashion,
At the precinct, they fell in love.

His name was LaCroix, he was Nick's master
He was escorted in the room, when he smelled Nat'lie's perfume-
And then he saw her and called her over,
LaCroix was just about to gorge,
When Nicky flew across the (precinct) floor-
And then their growlings grew,
And things were smashed into,
There was blood and a single fangbite, but just who bit who?

At the precinct, police headquarters,
The hottest place in all of Toronto-
At the precinct, police headquarters,
Arrests and passion is always in fashion,
At the precinct, they found their love.

Her name was Nat'lie, she was a coroner,
It's been ninety years now passed, when they used to be downcast-
But now it's different, but not for LaCroix,
Still in the Raven, at the bar,
Knowing he has lost the war-
His dear Detective Knight,
His Nick gave her the bite,
She's got her youth and she's got her Nicky and she's of the night!

At the precinct, police headquarters,
The hottest place in all of Toronto-
At the precinct, police headquarters,
Fangbites and passion is now all the fashion,
At the precinct, they fell in love.
