"I really don't mind if we talk this one out."
Lacroix's words but a whisper, in deafness a SHOUT.
"Nick may make you feel, but he can't make you think.
You're life's in the gutter, your mortal love in the sink.
So you ride over to Nick's loft and make all your deals.
If you drink this shake you'll be mortal and feel.
But, Natalie, you don't understand...
Nicholas is Thick as a Brick."
"Lacroix, you may be right, Nick's virtues are all swept away.
But you always question Nick's moral melee.
Nick may make an elastic retreat to the vampire way,
but science may discover a new fangled way.
Nick will one day eat a mortal meal
and he will suntan and his skin will not peel.
But Lacroix you are right.
Nick will still be Thick as a Brick."
