Dreams are perhaps one of the most strange phenomenon in the world. They let us do things we would never do in real life, and even the impossible. Some neat things include flying(like a bird), floating, transporting, telepathy, jumping enourmous heights without getting hurt, and other things more nasty,(crime included).
They don't necessarily say what you are as a person or wrongful things you've done, but I'm no psychiatrist either, and I doubt anyone can say for sure what dreams are. Whether our soul actually leaves our bodies when we sleep is objectionable. Alas, the purpose of this web site is not to tell you what your dreams mean for sure or how to live your life--I'M NO PSYCHIC--but it is to let people share their dreams and ideas on them. (All in fun)

Time Warps
Okay, if you want to really freak yourself out, try dreaming about meeting another you!! I've had ghoulish dreams with the creepiest beings around, including vampires, ghosts, mutated monsters - you name it, but I think the whole time warp/paradox thing is the most spine tingling thing I've dreamt of to date (being currently 26 years old). It was only maybe a couple weeks ago when I had my first such strange dream - it started off innocent enough. My son Gabriel was in his crib in our bedroom and I was in the kitchen of our apartment doing something when I heard him start to cry on the baby monitor. So I decided to check on him - this was one of those dreams that seemed so real because everything was just as it looks in our apartment. Anyways, I left the kitchen and was just walking down the hall towards our bedroom to check on him, when out of nowhere I hear on the baby monitor some random talking coming out of the speaker. Now keep in mind, I was the only person in the kitchen when I left it, (even though this part doesn't make sense in reality as the monitor part where noise comes from is in the bedroom), so the fact that there's ANY noise coming from it is freaky enough. But the spine tingling started there - I heard none other than my own voice coming from the kitchen!! And boy did that send me running - for the bathroom that is. I guess I ran toward the nearest door and because the bathroom is sort of my 'safe place' or a room where I feel most secure I guess I was planning to hide there? Then for some reason there was someone in the bathroom at the time - no, they weren't doing anything on the toilet, and I was relieved to have someone to 'protect me' (yeah, HOW old am I again?). I was trying to frantically get that person to listen to me that there was another me walking around when I got the feeling that the other me was coming towards me (sort of like when you sense something watching you). Anyways, next thing I know this girl peeks her head around the door - I gasp (I really wanted to scream at this point in anticipation), but then I managed to actually talk to her. I think I would have had a heart attack in reality had the girl in my dream looked EXACTLY like myself, so subconciously my brain made her to look like a different girl just wearing the same thing I was and with my voice. At that point I woke up in a sweat as I couldn't handle it... *shivers* Its not the circumstance so much as the idea of seeing one's own self that freaked me out the most. But it doesn't end there...
The next strange 'another me' dream I had happened a week or so after that when I dreamt my husband and I were renewing our vows of marriage except it was my 'double' in the ceremony. How weird huh?! It was like this - I was in the room off to the side where the bridesmaids get ready to walk out, except I was there waiting for the other me to walk back in after the ceremony. (Thank goodness I didn't see the other me!) My best friends walked in (the real bridesmaids from my ceremony), and they had somehow taken pictures of the ceremony while they were part of it - and they were about to show me a picture of the fake bride, when of course... I woke up. Yup waking up is a life saver every time (though in my dream I wasn't as creeped out at the chance of seeing the other me - I was actually excited to see photos of her). Yeah, did I mention my dreams are strange?? *grins* Okay, that's enough for now.
Earth and the Human Race
Do you ever have one of those dreams that really get to you deep down - the kind that make you think about life? Well I do, not every night of course, but once in a while I will and they are some of the best dreams ever! Well last night was no exception - keep in mind I'm not the best storyteller out there, so it may not seem as exciting - you had to be there literally, lol!
Anywho, it was one of those third-person dreams where one is seeing themselves and other places (even though they're not there in their dream) Confused? Sorry ;p Well, I was standing outside on a fairly clear night (there were only a few clouds in the atmosphere. I was staring up at the stars in awe as I do in reality when I get the chance (since I live in the city, its rare that I get to see the stars shining for all the electric lights on earth).
Suddenly, it was as if I could see a massive web-like symbol encompassing the Earth, in space. And it was after it started to fully materialize that it dawned on me what its purpose is - that perhaps as the human race, Earth is being protected by some outside forcefield like a mother protects its child! At this point I was almost in tears in my dream because it was like I had discovered something special no one has seen before; it felt so wonderful deep down. :)
It made me realize just how fragile human life really is - maybe a message that I've been taking it for granted? The symbol to be a bit more descriptive, resembled a ship's steering wheel, silver in colour, but it waved like a thin web, in some unseen wind. It reminded me also of some type of rune, but it felt quite spiritual.
Soon afterward, a tiny creature flew down from the stars, and rammed right into me - at that point I realized it was wearing a baby blue outfit of some sort, almost looked like a man but smaller like a child. As I held it I brushed off what looked like fairy dust (if you can imagine lol!) and it started to dance with me! Strange, I know. But then, what dreams aren't? This creature gave me such happiness inside, I can't fully explain the joy - perhaps it was just the intense happiness it seemed to emit. I woke up and kept thinking about this dream all day - and I suggest you do the same. Sure dreams are dreams, but it doesn't stop us from taking something good away from them. Have you had a similar dream you'd like to display? Just sign my guestbook and I'll try to get back to you ASAP! Thanks again for listening!
Memories:
Okay, this is going to sound VERY weird, but here it goes... my mother, who used to be in the army, and whose parents are deceased, was recently in one of my strange dreams. What makes this strange is that it seems to tie in my mom's whole life in a weird way. How? I dreamt I was in the bath tub, and my mom had just finished having a bath. Somehow there was soap scum all over the place *tho in reality it would be sparkling clean. Then I was looking at the scum on the wall and in it was written something in backwards writing *which I could not decipher, but my mom said it was just something she did for fun ~ was supposed to be some old name she used to have in the army (too bad I couldn't read it :P). Anyways, then even weirder, my mom suddenly took something that looked like a mop handle attached to a big sponge and pressed it against the wall twice... and guess what appeared on the wall. Ooh, this REALLY freaks me out, she had two big photos of her parents attached to the sponge and sort of stamped them on the wall!! One was of her mother and father side by side, except the picture was hanging upside down, the other was a close-up of her father upright (I think maybe because he was closest to her as a child). I was screaming at her to take them off the wall because I couldn't bath with the pictures on the wall, staring at me! (in reality, my mom woke up because she heard me screaming in my sleep, which I found out later) Spooky. Next thing, there are many cats with human-like features climbing around the tub, making weird faces at me and each other (my mom owned many cats as a child), and I was sort of amazed at the spectacle... I think one was even talking! What does this mean, my mom thinks her parents may have been asking for a prayer - if so, I sincerely pray for them that they both go to heaven, and rest in peace :) I always seem to have the strangest dreams, but this one was too weird for me because I've never dreamt about my mother's parents (I only met them once or twice) I hope I didn't freak anyone out, I just had to tell you about this one.
Don't you find it strange when you dream of dead people or people you haven't seen in many years? Okay, maybe not so strange, but what does it all mean? I've dreamt many times of dear departed baby sitter *bless her soul* and old friends from elementary. Is it because I miss them or what? I really don't know, but I guess every dream has a meaning hidden within its sphere, you just have to find it. Look at what you did in your dream and how you felt - was it something you meant to do before or something you wish you had, but never did? Or could it be that you never said something or did something you should have but were to afraid to do - these are the questions one must ask. However, some of them are more like deja vu if you catch my drift...Sort of like things you know you have done before some time and place *you're so sure of it* !! Well, either way, perhaps your dreams are there to help improve you as a person... or believe in something higher than man >^_~< That's all for now. Ciao!
Scary Mansions & Strange Happenings:
This was the strangest (or one of the strangest) dreams...and VERY frightening (aren't they all tho?) What makes it so frightening for me, is that suddenly the only house I have ever felt safe in (spirit-wise) became posessed by something evil long dead. I remember seeing the basement as if it was all cracked then a coffin, fairly small and grey, made of stone, sitting on the cement floor. I remember thinking that the house had shifted recently, and that's what caused the coffin to appear. And very quickly it became apparent to me that everything was wrong. Very wrong. I don't remember the order of events, but I was going to do laundry in the kitchen (our washing machine is there still in reality), and when I opened the washing machine lid, I was able to see into the basement! Next thing I started walking around the house, and I would see my dog lying down somewhere, yet when I went into the next room suddenly my do would be walking beside me! And the basement stairs were starting to slowly disappear, as I looked down at my father who was in the basement working on something. I think I was trying to warn him or something but I couldn't go down. Plus, I noticed I kept seeing doubles of everyone in my family, and yet I was not frightened by them, but of the corpse that was causing all this weirdness. It was if we were all stuck in a time freeze and so our doubles were appearing. There were some other disturbing things which do not come to me right now, but I felt like I was doomed because it seemed like every house I ever move to (in real life) is haunted (knock on wood this one is not for real)!! Was that frightening or what?!
Another recent dream I've had - I dreamed about my old classmates in Junior High. At first it was not apparent that I was going to have one big nightmare (usually they are all separate). The first part was about a red lizard type creature as big as a medium-sized dog but it kept growing rapidly, hatching ->sort of reminded me of the movie Gremlins (ever see it?) Of course, this involved screaming people running away as more lizard creatures started to appear. Next thing I know, I'm with my old classmates (I thought was a new dream), and we were at school except the locker room where we changed was in a dark, unfinished basement (why do I keep dreaming of basements?)That itself was troubling. Then some of my friends were saying, "Look at that hole, I wonder what made it?!" They came running up to me asking me to look at the hole in the wall in the next room to my left. Dumbly, I decided not to, but instead to go in the room ahead and change into normal clothes by myself (I was in uniform). Well, that was a BIG mistake!! As soon as I entered the next room of the basement all alone, I saw one of the prefects lying in her uniform on the cold cement floor with a piece of metal sticking up through her stomach -it could have been a sword (there was lots of blood). She was not even 10 feet from where I was. That made the hairs on my neck stand on end and suddenly I knew I was all alone. Can you say silence of the lambs? As soon as I turned to leave the room, I realized I was no longer at school, but in someone's basement! You can bet I wanted to get the heck away from there but suddenly I was facing the stairs leading up out of the basement and they were out my reach ->sort of like a fire escape... Then I was very aware of the danger that some lizard creature (from the first dream) was lurking in the room with me and that's when I woke up in a sweat! Boy was I relieved when I knew it was just a nightmare!! Maybe I've seen too many scary movies.. I don't know how else to explain it!
Now what is it with me and strange mansions?! I just had a strange dream about me and my brother being chased by a bad guy with a gun, who was chasing us around an mansion... there go my video games again, but seriously, I think its because I adore big houses, I just can't live in 'em, lol!!! Well, first we were in some big basement with barely any light, and the floor wasn't even cemented -that's right - it was totally covered in dirt. So I tried to dig myself under the soil to hide, but eventually the killer found me by poking my back and tickling me. I got up and ran -somewhere - I don't remember exactly what happened next, but I do remember how it was much like a video game, in that I went exploring trying to find items to kill the bad guy. I even came across a bag with a couple posters and crayons n' other neat things which were supposedly from my childhood *I really don't know what they were though* and I was so shocked that I found something from when I was little. I eventually ended up outside where it was day, then it turned night really fast. At first there was a helicopter -don't ask, and a fire engine, plus cops. Next thing I know there was no one there to help me, just roaming zombies and extra terrestrial beings chasing me, and I had to get away. Am I messed up or what?! Nah, just kidding! Ha,ha, I seriously had way to much fun in this dream, like in a video game -- there I go again!!! MWA HA HA!! Yikes, I think I've talked myself into a trouble spot, gotta go!! Bye!
Recently, I dreamt that my mom and I had owned some sort of bording house for teenage girls or something. It was the most huge old mansion you could dream of, with cobwebs n' everything. And LOTS of antiques. Anyways, I dreamt my mom's room was all maroon--from the curtains, to the bedsheets, to the hot tub, everything--and boy was I drooling--this was the room of my dreams! I can't describe it too well, but if I ever design my own house, you can bet this will be part of it! The rest of the mansion was very creepy, yet inviting--i guess the fact that there were these sweet innocent girls living here comforted me. It was strange how in order to reach some of their rooms, I had to go into some dank basement or something, and squeeze through some vent or hole in the wall *do not ask how*, but then I would find a smiling young girl sitting up in a gourgeous fluffy bed, waiting for her meal or company. It was SO weird..mind you, I've dreamt of stranger things. All in all, though this mansion looked all doom and gloom, the bedrooms and the company we had made up for it all, and I would never want to leave it.
Speaking of 'squeezing through holes in walls'--here's an odd one from a LONG time ago! I dreamt i was at home (maybe about 8 or 9 years old), and my dad was shaving, i was playing around the house. All of a sudden, I see some big-@$$ creature smashing down walls in the house--whatever that means! Anyway, the strange part(I still remember this up till now), I would escape the monster from room to room by willfully being sucked into a sink or some type of drain n' ending up on the other side of the pipe--in my dream, this was another sink or something. And you can bet I got scared when i was standing in front of drain waiting to be sucked in, and it would not take me--with the monster about to smash down the wall of the room i was in!! ACK! All I can say is--DO NOT SPEND TOO MUCH TIME IN THE BATHROOM! Phew! Well, that's what i remember of it--can't say what happened next, but I imagine i woke up while going through this neverending cycle.
Ghosts N' Things:
My last dream started out to be a normal everyday dream until it reached its climax at the very end (that will almost cut your life short!) The sky was a beautiful blue, very sunny, and I was taking some kind of field trip with my classmates, (literally), - what I mean is we were walking the whole way! Even stranger than that, it seemed like I was always left at the end of the line like a caboose that never catches up with the train. If this was real life I could easily have been walking at the front of the line, but I seemed to be either too slow of a walker or too out of shape. I was assigned a 'buddy' for the trip who is a Chinese girl in a blue skirt talking to some other girls. I kept commenting on her dress and things just for conversation. Then there were a couple other students beside us talking and laughing. We kept walking around buildings and visiting places (at this point I don't remember squat) but our teacher was leading us the whole time. It seemed like an eternity before it suddenly became nightfall…
Next thing I noticed it was pitch black out and we were trudging through some alleys, around fences, and strangely enough through fine dirt, which was piled in the streets (almost like a dump). The air was silent with no one else around. The girl beside me who was supposed to be my buddy for the trip ran up ahead with some other girls and left me behind with someone girl I didn't know. I now felt a little frightened being without a group of students and the rest of the class somewhere out of sight (I couldn't see them when they vanished behind another fence). So I started running… Or at least I tried. It was as if some invisible wind was blowing me back and I was not getting anywhere. So I dropped to my hands and knees and started scraping through the dirt on the ground, pulling myself slowly around the dirt pile ahead. There were a few students up ahead nearby. I was trying to reach them, and ominously the strange wind was not as harsh, so I pushed up onto my feet and start running again. This seemed to be an intro for what happened next. Out of nowhere I heard a girl yell, "Max where are you?" Then another, "Max?" then, "Max!!" That time it was more in anger, then she screamed, "MAAAAAAAXXXXXX??!!" The girl's shriek was so terrifying I started to run faster (it pierced my ears and raised the hairs on my neck). Then there is a pause in her yelling and more in disbelief than anything else she says, "No … " I can imagine her in shock as she said another, " No …" Finally she screamed at the top of her lungs, "MAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX !!!" And I heard her crying at the end. At this point I could have peed myself I was so freaked out, and I started racing around the fence to catch up with the rest of my class - call me a coward but I could sense something was going to happen to the girl and I was next if I didn't run away.
Gee, that was more frightening than any horror movie ever produced because of course I was part of it!! And like in most of my dreams, I imagined some super zombie or other strange creature that was coming for all of us (I shiver every time I think of it). Part of the lesson of this dream might be to stay with the group and never take a trip at night on foot!
The dream ends here, phew! (I think I scared myself awake)
Okay, lately I've been having the STRANGEST dreams and its been so long since I've had ones like these (kind of freaky). Let's see...I dreamt a few days ago that i walked into a bedroom during the daytime and in the corner of my eye I noticed that the bed had black bedsheets on it, and it was sticking out the bed in the form of a human's head and body--I had this bad feeling it was a ghost so I decided not to look at it carefully. I left the bedroom and spoke with someone to find out who was in the bedroom. At that point he/she said "No one", and I KNEW I had just seen a ghost--freaks the heck out of me! 8<
A few weeks ago, I dreamt I was in a strange town with my brother, in the middle of the night, and it was thundering outside. I have NO idea why we were there, but we decided to go inside a house--the place seemed so deserted. Unfortunately, my brother decided to go off on his own to see if he could find anyone and I was left to fend for myself in the quiet house I was in...It was SO DAMN DARK! I saw an axe lying in the corner of the room, so I picked it up. Now I don't know if its because I played Resident Evil a couple months ago or what, but next thing I know I'm fighting some zombie creature! Crap, that was terrifying! I would go further into the house and in every room I would find some ghost or strange worm, or zombie creature that I would try to kill. (Don't ask how I axed a ghost) After a while of killing off monsters, I left the house in search of people, and I surprisingly found some folks walking down a main street. I joined their group, and we ended up walking into some alley, and next thing you know I'm looking under some stairs at a cat or something, but it was as if I had shrunk in size--Very Weird!--then I don't know what happened after that--but it still gets my blood curdling to think about it!
